Our schedules would not allow us to meet sooner than 2 weeks from now. I think I should call her to make sure she feels I am interested, but I don't want to come off as insecure. What should I do?

Absolutely call, perhaps more than once (depending on how the phone call goes). It doesn't need to be a long conversation but definitely do not make her wait 2 wks and wonder if you are still interested and if the date is still "on".

If you don't call her she may think you're not interested in her but if you call more than once a day may she might think you're obsessive or insecure. Best thing to do is call here every other day starting 2/14/07. As for what to talk about I recommend wishing her a happy Valentines day and talking about the weather and family also, if she sounds nervous on the phone don't call her for a couple of days and let her calm her self down.

Yeah, they want you to call. It doesn't really matter what you talk about because if you're not talking about her, she won't be listening anyway. Girls like to hear themselves talk so just give her ample opportunity to talk about whatever's on her mind.
I'm sure they'll all give me a thumbs down on this answer, but it's still the truth.

Just check in with her a couple days before the date, just letting her know that it is important to you.

If you want to talk to her then pick up the phone and call her...even if its to say "I'm looking forward to this date."

just call. say hi how u doin, and catch up with things going on. talk about recent events and such.
