My ex-b/f and I just recently broke up and when we did, we made it clear that although we still really liked each other, we couldn't date anymore and we'd just be friends. It was the perfect most understandable finish to a relationship and we kind of just hung out as friends after that. As I was going inside, he said for me to 'call him'. I want to, but should I wait? And also, can I just call him to see what he's up to, would that be okay?

A coworker sent me an email that I was too weird for him to be friends with because I was sending him mixed signals. We had been close for awhile and I told him it was best that we ignore each other so I can get over my crush on him since he already has a gf not in the US . During all of this, he suggested that the best way to get over him was to sleep with him. I thought he really wanted me because he kept asking if I wanted to do it. Then he told me that I should do it with someone else since he already has a gf. Of course, I felt hurt ,angry, and embarrassed since I told him things that I wanted him to do to me. A few days later I called him a dog via text since he jerked my feelings around, then I felt bad about it and wrote a letter apologizing to him. A few days ago, he looked at me like he wanted to say hi and I emailed him asking him if we could just treat each other like coworkers and say hi. He said I was too weird. I'm ignoring him like he wanted, but sometimes he looks.

For nice guys in their mid-20s who still believe in good old-school romantic ideals and chivalry towards the ladies, just wondering what are some good places and locations where to find genuinely nice girls in the Northern Virginia / D.C. Metro area? For some reason it seems that almost all girls here will only consider a guy who's into the bars / party / clubbing scene, which is really not my style. I would much rather just talk to a girl to try to get to know her better without all of the distractions. But it just seems so awkward to approach girls in places like churches, parks, and bookstores or coffee shops, since I am a complete stranger to them and they don't even know me...and I'd feel really bad if I made them uncomfortable or anything like that. If anyone has any advice they could please offer on places or on best ways approach girls in unfamiliar settings, it would be deeply appreciated!

I had known this girl for a few months. I had been trying to get her ever since... she said to me that she think she started to have feeling for me just recently. She is the type that like to be slow. Even though she said that. I still feel like she isn't acting as interested as I would anticipated. I txt her every now a then but i almost never gets a reply.. i call her often but she don't pick up the phone and will never call back even i left a message.... I'm 25 and I've only ever had one boyfriend; but I have tons of guys that call and want to talk and hang out with me regularly...some treat me better than I've seen them treat their own girlfriends. It's flattering and fun to have guy friends, to be, as some have said, "a cool girl I can be myself around," but I'm lonely at the end of the day. What am I doing wrong? (Don't think I'm gonna sleep with anyone to change my luck, either!!!)

I would like to start a new relationship some day but for sum reason its hard for me. Im too scared of rejection.. im a black , 21 year old (lightskin)male, 5'9, 175lb, muscle tone, average looks( 7-8ish).. back in highschool there were tons of girls who liked me but now that im in the real world its like no girls want to talk to me.. what is wrong? My former fiance and I got back together after a 3 week breakup because we were unable to get along. We got back together and I found out she slept with her ex husband when he was in town seeing children, then she slept with some misc guy she met, and then she tried to sleep with another ex but he said no. Now she says she made some mistakes when we were apart that she regrets and that she just needed to someone to fill the void because she was hurt that I split up with her. However, I know we were apart but it makes me question her feelings for me and this relationship.

She says she stillwants to be together and get married one day but I don't know how I feel if she is serious or I'm just Mr. Right Now until something better comes along.

Okay, I have known this guy for 2 years now, and we have been real good friends. He asked me to be his gf on Friday and I said yes. Now the night before my mom got to see what he looks like at a school function. So she has no clue who he is or what he's like. She says I can't go on a date until she gets to know him. Now I can understand what she's saying to me. I just think she doesn't trust me. I think she thinks I'm gonna do drugs if he offered, or have sex with him. And I'm not a person that does that. I mean come on I'm only 13 years old and in the 8th grade. She could at least let us walk around in the mall together or go see a movie. Right? Please give me your opinion about this situation!!!

By the way, this would be my first date with a girl I met through the internet and I'm excited to meet her in person for the first time. I have only been on one other date with a girl and that was more of a fling (because she didn't want anything serious). Anyway, I'm not very experienced at dating chics and I have never had a relationship with one - but it would be great if it worked out with this girl.

Hi, my boyfriend just got the privilage to change his hair color and style to whatever he pleases, so he is. It's been bleech, blue, and lavender (but it turned his hair blue again, oddly enough) in the past two months. I don't like him changing all the time, I know he's the same guy, just different hair, but it's so extravagant and constantly-changing that it's driving me crazy!!! When I told him last time (he was asking me how a mohawk would look on him (OMG)), i said "plz don't do that, I like yer hair as it is now =)." and he's like "you sound like my mom, Akii."
ACK!!! him changing all the time is a little too much for me (I'm not good with sudden change). I love him still, I'm happy that he's happy with his looks, and I can ignore his obnoxious styles. The colors even begin to grow on me after a while... but a lavender mohawk?!?
How can I ask him to be more stable with his hair without sounding like his mom?

well i asked her out and she said i'll think about it and then after a week her friends told me she said no.
