I going to see this guy I like tomorrow, I think, he's my friend's brother, so, most of the time when I see him, I'm just talking to her, How do I start a long conversation with him without akward silences? Please don't send anything unless you're pretty sure it works.

There's always going to be awkward silence in the beginning.
If you know what he's interested in ask him about that. Make it about him.

Ask him how his day is was so far, tell him something you noticed today that was really interesting, there are plenty of stuff. If you want, ask your friend to start a conversation with you guys both and she can leave in the middle of it so you guys still have something to talk about.
