is this normal for a girl to act this way?

I had known this girl for a few months. I had been trying to get her ever since... she said to me that she think she started to have feeling for me just recently. She is the type that like to be slow. Even though she said that. I still feel like she isn't acting as interested as I would anticipated. I txt her every now a then but i almost never gets a reply.. i call her often but she don't pick up the phone and will never call back even i left a message.... Am i expecting too much??? i just hoping to get some opinion on this thanks

I think i should clear myelf up a little bit....

when i said get her i mean to get into a relationship with her...

when i said txt or phone call i usually try it once a day AT most...

i also want to add.. our relationship as friend seem to be ok..
on the day that i get to talk to her on the phone we usually ends up talking for hours.

I am away from her at the moment i am moving back in May. so it is kinda like trying to create a relationship long distance...

That's not really normal for a girl to act that way. In fact, I recall always being excited for phone call, a text message, or an instant message from a potential boyfriend. You mention she's "slow" in the way of relationships, but she just may not be "interested" in the way that you want her to be. Instead of texing her about random things, like, "How R U?," next time you see her in person, ask her, "So .. want to go for a movie on Friday night?"

It's a very blatant, and innocent way to tell a girl, "Hey, I dig you, and now the ball's in your court." If she decides to play with you, saying, "Oh, I'm busy Friday nights," or, "I don't think my parents would approve.." or whatever the case may be, then there's some sort of problem. When that happens, ask her plainly, "Are you still interested in me?" It might be harsh, but there's no reason she should be playing with your feelings.

you're putting WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much pressure on her. She told you she had feelings for you, but you got too excited, and started doing a lot of things. You can't forget that she told you that she's the slow type, and slow type girls act this way a lot. If you truely love this girl, then you should wait for her, but if not, you should probably move on. Pressure gets the girl nervous and makes her like you less, so just chill and relax for some days. You want her to be chasing you, but instead, its the other way around. Just think about it, and I wish you luck with this girl.

How often do you text her?? if it is more than 3x a day I'd back off. I would let her make the next move. Let her call you or text you for once. Who knows, she could be busy at work right now. If it has been over a week and she hasn't called I would just cut your losses and move on.

Maby she does like you but she is looking at her options? If I were you I would go with the flow. Are you looking for a relationship?? If so maby you should find someone who is more interested in you. If you continue to wait around maby you will get hurt. I would keep looking for someone else in till she starts to show some interest. Make her work for it for a change. Good Luck....

I would say to just give it some time then if she doesn't answer you, confront her about it. See how she really feels. And i don't mean text her... actually go up to her and ask her. Yes I know...easier said than done, but you cant let her keep you wondering forever.

Sounds to me like a smart girl who has a life and does not revolve herself around boys. Sounds like a keeper to me. You can't expect as much from her as you would the average. Something tells me if you break her heart though, her dad may kick your a s s.

well some girls need time to figure out their feelings for a guy if she said that she thinks she has feelings for you she could just be trying to figure out if she does or not. just give it a couple of days before trying to reach her again. some girls just need some time alone to figure things out.
