what is considered cheating? ppl always say that if u sleep with someone else, than thats cheating. but is that it? what if u kiss someone else or hug someone or hang out with someone who isnt ur mate. is that considered cheating. is it only sex thats considered cheating? when ppl say "she cheated on me" are they generally refering to sex?

ive been hanging out with this girl for the past week...never for very long but we get along great and Im really interested in her.

A buddy of mine told me she was talking to him about me and said that she likes me etc etc.

Anyways... we used to text each other a lot, and talk a lot but over the past few days I havent seen her and havent heard from her a whole lot.

Does this mean that she is waiting for me to initiate things, or does it mean she wants a break from me (i would have no idea why),or am I just being overly analytical and its really nothing, i mean it has only been a day or two.

I havent felt like this about someone before...usually girls are just girls, and even my ex girlfriends were never very important to me. This girl is different...I think about her all the time

I have been in a relationship with a sometimes great man for 13 years. We have lived together for 8 of those 13 years. I love him with all that I am but sometimes find myself wishing I was single just so I would not have to compromise all the time. I know and understand that being in any relationship is work but should it not get easier as time goes on. After 13 years I thought it would be so easy but it seems that the longer we stay together the harder it gets and the more compromising I feel I am doing? Am I looking for a fairy tale thinking things are always supposed to be rosey and nice? Help me make since out of life and love.

Omigosh, have you ever gotten butterflies and goosebumps when you think of 'him/her'? Well, I have that feeling towards this boy at my school...well, he doesnt go to my school. I'm in 9th grade and he's in 10th. He's in high school and I'm in Middle School. I REALLY like him and have liked him ever since last year. Whenever I talk to him he makes fun of me because I'm so short, or how I'm so young or whatever. But he still asks for hi5s, and gives me frequent hugs. Whenever the topic comes up of him dating a younger person he always says 'I would NEVER go out with some little 9th grader'. But all my friends say that they think he likes me, but I'm too shy to!! What should I do? I REALLY like this guy, but I haven't seen him in about a month. There is a semi formal coming up and I want to ask him, but because I haven't seen him in awhile it could be awkward. Plus whenever there are older girls around he tends to flirt with them, so thats kind of a setback with me. Any help appreciated!

So about a month ago I decided to ask an old coworker out to the movies since all my friends punked out on me. I figured..meh he was always calling to see if I wanted to hang out so why not just go to the movies with him.
Then he confesses to me he likes me more than just a friend/ex co worker and would like to date me and I staright told him I am not looking for any type of involvement (which is true). Plus he is really not my type for me to budge and give in.
He proceeded to say "I will take ever you can give, even it its just friendship I would like us to hang out."
I dont want that coz I feel bad, dont want to lead him on and we don't even have a friend like chemistry.
What is the best way for me to say no to him coz he keeps calling or texting me?

i started speaking to a man online last week. after a few conversations we discovered we have a lot in common and we hit it off pretty well. i found out that he told me a different last name, he had reason such as the fact that he is an emergency responder and he is supposed to keep his personal info private (i dont know if thats true so whatever) and that he didnt know me very well so he was trying to keep it private. so my friends became very weary of him and looked him up online. a friend found info suggesting that he was married. the topper a friend of mine called the number listed and got the message that "they" were not home. all signs point to married! when i confronted him on this he appologized profusly(sp) and claimed that he had told women this in the past and had bad luck so he wanted to hide it and get to know me better. he claimed that he is going thru a divorce and he lives in a different home. both stories are possible. what should i do?

A little while back i logged on to my fiance's myspace account. I read a message on there from a close guy friend of hers saying he wouldnt tell anyone about him spending the night at her dorm room. I also read messages from him to her saying he missed her alot and stuff like that. I confronted her about this and she said that it didnt happen and she doesnt know what im talking about, it must have been a joke or something. I honestly dont know what to think. i was dating with a man for nearly 2 years, i wasnt wanting anything serious but he said he wanted to marry me but i refused because he couldnt hold down a job, had a drink problem, a sex addiction, and was immature. When we were getting along i told him i loved kids, He told me he had no intention of having kids. We split up. He then came to my house wanting me back. I found out later that he was engaged to a single mum. I dont get it. He has a job now too and supports his gfriend and child. Was he just lying to me? everthing he said to me now seems the opposite of how he is.
