Singles & Dating - 3 February 2007

People are telling me that I am being used because I am in a long distance relationship (new - 3 months) with a man who had been seeing someone also long distance before me and has not broken it off yet. Both relationships are sexual. I am hoping he will break off the other relationship without my having to ask him and am giving him time to make sure I am who he really wants. I know we should not have been sexual but if just happened. We have a great time together. If he is using me then why does he call me every day and get involved in every aspect of my life? Doesn't that mean that he must have real feelings for me and plans to work on the relationship as though it has a future - even though he hasn't broken it off with her yet? I mean if he was just using me why would he show some much interest and waste so much time every day showing me that he cares? It does hurt me that he hasn't ended it with her but I am hoping he will soon. Doesn't he sound serious about me?

I know this guy online. We met in a virtual world, and know eachother by pretend names. We both know eachother by our virtual names. Though we also both name eachothers real names. We have said I love you a lot of times, using both our pretend names, Last night he said I love you, and used my real name. Might this suggest that he wants a real relationship, outside of the internet? By the way, I am 25 years old, and old enough for either sort of relationship, I am single, I just wanted to know if anyone thought this hinted at anything.

What is up with all the women these days saying their husbands refuse sex.... this is unheard of . Are men so far out of touch these days with their masculinety that they no longer have THE DRIVE? My girlfriend and me had an altercation (I was messing with someone else), but after I realized how much I love her I am willing to prove to her that I am not a bad boy. I don't go to the clubs or bars (unless me friend is deejaying that night). After work, I go home and give her a call. Plus, when I invite her over I sometimes make dinner or take her out. Let me give you some background. This guy has been one of my best friends for a year and a half and just a week ago we finally told eachother how we felt about eachother. All through the week he has been wonderful and sweet to me. He's not trying too move fast, nor does he move too slowly. To me he's my 'perfect guy'. But today we went to the movies with some of our friends and I could tell he was hinting to hold my hand... but I didn't notice until after he gave up. :( Then after the movie he walked right past me and went up to my other friends in front of me. Our shoulders brushed and it didn't feel like an accident, but then he hardly talked to me for the rest of the time we were hanging out, which was only a half hour, because then he left without telling me why. And when he left he never even gave me a goodbye hug. I don't know what's going on, and I don't want to annoy him, so I'm not sure if I should call him or not. At least, not yet. What is going through his head?

How long after a guy's mom dies, should you wait before asking him out? Complicated relationship. He asked me out right while I was breaking up and our date did not go well. We still talk every now and then and are both attracted to each other; but timing is never good. About a year ago, his mom died; before the holidays, his mom's cousin started going through the same type of illness as his mom and he was afraid she was going to die, too. Don't think it'd be appropriate to ask him out on a date, yet (especially with Valentines' coming up). How long should I wait? And, I'd like to call just to make sure he's ok...Ideas?

a couple of weeks ago i got my first period (im 13) and then i had lunch and the benches and tables were white so i sat down and i got up and it was red on the seat so i told my friend and we went to thhe locker room so i could change into my sweats. but while we were leaving my bff and crush (GUY) was right behind me walking the same way and i had a HUGE red stain on the back of my pants and i turned around and said "hi joey!" and then while i was changeing from my pants into my sweats i realized he had to of seen it since it was huge! i mean how embarresing?!?

I really like one of my friends. I am not sure if she knows it, though.

In my mind I have been planning to surprise her on Valentines Day.
I wanted to leave some gifts for her in each of her classes, and
leave clues for her on each of them. On the last one, I want to tell
her that I like her, I am not sure how she will react to this, and I am not sure if this is a good idea.

We have known each other around 2 years. I really like her and I am afraid that she wont feel the same way about me.

If anyone could please give me other ideas & tell me if it a good idea or if I should think of something else? Am I coming on to strong?

I have seen this guy around school. When I first walked passed him, I noticed at the corner of my eye that he was staring at me (my face, to be exact.) I looked back at him, and he did not avert his gaze. And now, whenever we walk pass each other, I noticed that he'd look straight ahead when he'd see me, glance at me for a couple of seconds, then would quickly look away.

Does he think I'm attractive? What exactly is he thinking?

We don't know each other at all, if that helps.
