You messed up, so the only way to get those old feelings back with her is to reestablish trust. If I were you, I would not act like I was doing something behind her back or act secretive around her. I would let her know who I was talking on the phone with and let her know more about my life, such as what was going on when she was not around, whether she asked or not. I would be certain, if I were you, never to make this mistake again. If your friend is deejaying I would recommend you take this girl with you.

You pretty much answered your own question!
You stated that 'you are not the A**hole she once knew'.
Well that in itself should tell you 'why' her feelings toward you have changed..
Put yourself in her shoes and ask yourself how
would 'you' have reacted if it were her that
had cheated on you!!
Of course her feelings have changed toward you, she's human, and has now become 'leary'
of you, and whether she can trust you again or not.
Things like this take a 'long time' to RE-gain
someones trust of you.
And sometimes it never happens, simply because the one who was decieved by cheating, has lost that trust for good..
So the only advice I can give you is, 'one step
at a time', and if you 'really' cared about this girl to start with you would 'never' have cheated on her. Only an UN-commited partner would do such a thing, and it's likely she sees things this way also, as do millions of others who have been cheated on..
How does she know for sure you'd 'never' do it again? She doesn't!!
It's like saying 'I promise' to do this or that, but often times the promise gets broken..
You would have to spend the rest of your life
'proving' your love to her, if she's unable to trust you again.. Sit down, talk this out, and go from there..

It will take time. You have to prove it in many ways. Be open and honest with her. Always. She is probably thinking of the saying. "Once a cheater always a cheater". For the most part that is true. At times it isnt. Just keep on what you are doing. Treat her good and put her first with things.
Good luck!

You blew it DOUCHEBAG!!! You will NEVER have what you once did and she will never completely trust you. Odds are she will cheat on you at some point to even the score and you two are doomed to a failed relationship. Sady most selfish bastards like yourself realize this scenario after you go and screw a hoochie mamma. Chalk it up to a lesson learned and treat your next lady better!
