I should be working on a project for my job right now, but can't get around to doing it. I don't want to, should I meet up with a new boy that likes me today and do it tommorow, or should I get it over with and risk not meeting him?

OK- I should add, I have blown him off two weeks in a row because of other things I have to do so I'm not "putting my life on hold" as one put it. If anything, I have put him on hold, that's why I don't know what to do!

It's up to you kiddo. Which is more important to you? A "job" is a source of income and essential as the cost of living raises every second of the day (regardless of how the government responds to that annually...hehe)...Do what you will, do what you wish...You know you are kiddo...Go tear it up...:)>

why wait? Do your work today and then look the guy up tomorrow, or when you are done your job and see if he's available to perhaps go out and grab a bite to eat... or a cup of coffee.
one should never put thier life on hold for another person. This says alot about who you are, and what you are willing to sacrafice... your life's ambitions or yourself should never be shoved aside, just so you can please someone else, or have them in your life. It's called revolving yourself around someone else, and anyone who has done this can tell you, that it will be you who looses out in the end. When doing this, you slowly begin to loose your identity... I know you are saying " gosh, all I asked was should I or shouldn't I? " But honestly you need to take a look at yourself and see the pattern here... is this what you do quite often? Put yourself, your job aside, and leave it until the last minute for a chance meeting, or uncertain possibilities? Doesn't sound very responsible to me, and it will be you getting hurt in the end... either through a reprimand because the job assignment wasn't done correctly, or finished on time... little effort put into it... and say there is no reprimand... what does this say to the guy about you? You may be ready and willing... but men like girls who are able to stand on thier own two feet, hanging on thier every word gets old... they want someone who can think for themselves, and is self reliant and independant... Meet him later... tell him you'd like to get together with him, but you have to get some work done... schedule for a time when you will be free of distractions...

Work on the project and tell him that you can meet him tomorrow morning for coffee. You need to give yourself some importance.... b/c if the relationship ends a rye than you are going to tell yourself you should have played a little hard to get from the beginning.... Remember, in relationships we want what we can't have.... Play the game...

It depends what is most important to YOU right now? Your project depending when it's due? or this boy you met? Now, if it was me I would be working on the project!! and call the boy later in the day.

If you can do the projest tomorrow without no problem on time I say go out and try to meet the guy. If you dont have the time for the project, I guess you should stay home and do it.

Let him know that you have a project that is due tomorrow for your job, but you really do want to meet with him, and set up another time or day to meet.
If he does not understand that, then he is much too immature for you.

I think you have a problem with procrastinating. But, I digress. I think that you should approach him and go on that date when you are finished with the project - to celebrate! Have Fun! Good Luck and God Bless!

do half of it, and meet him for ONE late coffee. nothing else. or say to yourself, "I'm worth it, darn it! I'm gonna stay home and do my work. If he's smart, he'll be around tomorrow. If not, HIS loss!"
