Personally I don't think it's ok, a child of 14 doesn't know what their getting in to much less a child of 10. Nor would it be alright for an 18 year old to date a 14 year old. The 14 yr. old is still a kid where the 18 yr. old is of legal age, so it's against the law and the 18 yr. old is a young adult. Now if your talking 23 and 19, that's a different story, that's fine because the 19 year old is a young adult not a small child.

Well, if you like someone, you like someone. You can not change that. But, 14 and 10 is a little different than 20 and 24 or 44 and 40. At 14 you are almost in high school or already in high school and at 10, you havent even reached middle school. I think at a young age if you were to "go out", it wouldnt last long. And say it did, you would be 18 and he would be 14....you could potentially face some serious problems.

No, this is not right. But to be friends is ok. A 14 year old has a very different outlook on life than a 10 yr old. move on and look for someone closer to your age. 10 yr olds just wanna have fun and 14 year olds are starting to look at men/women in a sexual way. 10 yr olds are not mature enough. im 14 and I've had multiple crushes on my brothers 10 and 11 year old friends. They never last that long tho lol

i dont understand. is it a 14 year old or a 23 year old? 23 year old with someone 4 years older/younger then no. 10 and 14 yes. a 10 year old probably hasn't even hit puberty

yeah that's not right, its different for people who are grown up, you need to be a certain maturity to be able to "like people" in the dating sense. Worry about school and being a kid right now

Find someone who is the same age as you, the kid is too young. Your too young to be dating as well, wait until you grow up, your childhood will pass quick enough anyway.

yea it is cool i have a similar problem to i am 13 and i like a 10 or 11 year old but if u like him it shouldn't matter as long as u r happy
