Your question isnt quite clear. If it is what I think it is a relationship takes trust and honesty to work. Should have open communication too. That is the best way to keep a relationship healthy. With or without "experience". That will just fall into place.
I hope I answered your question.

Do take the time to have fun together.
Do be nice to each other.
Do consider each other's feelings.
Do recognize and appreciate even the small things.
Do realize there will be times when the passion has faded, and that it's OK.
Do all you can to keep the other person from being hurt, even if it means giving up something you want.
Do support each other's interests, goals and passions, even if it's not something you want or find interesting, etc.
Don't stop loving, caring and respecting each other.

Well you both need to always keep the lines of communication open (talk about everything no matter how unimportant it might seem), respect each other, put each other first and don't listen to what others say about one another. And don't jump to conclusions about things and don't sweat the small stuff.

DO be focused on your relationship and all the aspects of it.
Talk about your beliefs and your feeling on each subject, event happening so you can be aware of each others feelings. Express your concerns and work together to figure out what will make you feel more secure (be reasonable).

Be honest, communicate your needs and expectations, and tell him that you need him to do the same...
