Ok, I met this guy and he's had plenty of gfs before but he's not the cocky player. He's really sweet and he really wants to hang out but see my parents are asian and are really strict about boys especially my dad. What would be a good way to introduce him and whats an acceptable location for a date or hang out. plus, i only had one boyfriend in my life and im a junior. so my parents are new with dating :P

....has gone very quickly from one rocky relationship to a new relationship with the guy they have had love for since highschool (who is a dream) and now are so sad because they are still sad about their ex and hate themself for jumping in to the next relationship to fast. I don't want to ruin this relationship I am in now (because I have been waiting for it for years) but I need to get over my ex before I can really devote myself 100%. I wish I loved myself enough to really devote myself to a new love. ug kill me I am 27 and I feel like a sad kid. Any females know what I mean?

I know it comes off as crazy, but I used to cut my arms back in the day when I didn't know how to cope with pain and deal with people who constantly betrayed me.. I haven't done it for A LONG TIME but the scars are there..

I'm a sweet girl, I just didn't know how to cope with some things.. Don't think I'm some psychotic 51/50 'cause I'm not.

At any rate, MEN, would you date a woman who used to be a cutter? Would you be embarrassed of the scars on her arms? Or would you try to be understanding and compassionate?

My boyfriend is 20.
I am 19.
My dad has a terminal illness (ALS) so my college is completely paid for... I am going to school to be a teacher, and my life is pretty much set for me.
My boyfriend on the other hand, doesnt have that luxury. He never really met his dad, and he is stuck doing blue collar jobs and working hard everyday just to get by.

We've been through alot together. So many ups and downs but I love him more than anything and I know he loves me. The thing is, hes always on the verge of a breakdown. I have to CONSTANTLY be happy just to keep him happy. Sometimes life brings me down and if I let it show, then he will snap and breakdown even harder. And I am expected to bring him up. I dont mind, but sometimes I need someone there for me... and I dont know how to bring him up.

Sometimes it makes me feel like Im not good enough when he has continual breakdowns, like I dont make him happy. He says its just life, but what should I do?

so i am the jealous type, i admit it, and i trust my boyfriend, but sometimes i just cant stand the thought that i am not at the same school as he is, and he is probably flirting with other girls. it drives me insane. I dont know what to do. My boyfriend never tells me anything anymore. I ask him questions all the time and all he says is you never tell me anything why should i tell you...
and then when ever i get mad because hes doing this he gets mad at me and goes " see, this is what i dont get about you" , " why are you getting mad "

i try and say because you dont tell me anything and then he just goes back to well you never tell me anything why should i tell you anything..

i dont know what to do.. help!

He works off shore, and I don't see him much. I'm driving down to his house the weekend before V-Day, and I have no idea what to get him, or what to do. Should I bake cookies before I go down there or something? I wanted to do something special for him because I'm just so proud of what he's doing with his life right now.

I have no idea what he has planned for me, but I still want to be sure I do something special too.

When I was in high school I had a b/f for 2 yrs...We broke up and remained friends after he joined the military...Then I met a second guy and we dated for 2 yrs...During the time we were together there were many times I missed the b/f prior to him even though I cared for him. Well, now the second b/f and I have also broke up and I met an absolutely wonderful guy. It is like we are meant for each other, but now I sometimes find myself thinking about the other two (whom I have remained friends with). When ever I see my last b/f I start crying uncontrolably. The funny thing is I am not a crier by any means nor do I have a desire to be with him! What on earth is wrong with me????I am afraid that if things don't work out with the new guy he will just be another emotional attachment on my list!!

I confronted my bf about being a pathological liar by sending him a text message since he was not answering his phone. He responded the next day but made no mention of my text. I was wondering what I should get my girlfriend for valentines day. We're both freshmen in college, and everything is going really well, and we both love each other deeply, but I'm not sure what I should get her.

I wasn't sure since it was our first valentines day if I should get her something like flowers and chocolate, or lingerie, or bath & body stuff. At first I was planning on getting her a diamond heart pendant, or something like that, but I wasn't sure if that would be setting the bar too high for the future, and I should wait to give expensive jewelry.

So if people could give me some idea of what sounds appropriate or give me links to some good gift ideas that would be wonderful. Money isn't too important, but probably under $200 total, unless it's really nice.

Ok for all you guys and girls what do you consider as someone being too controlling in a b/f -g/f relationship?

Could asking your boyfriend to go with you on a class trip and miss his first soccer game of the season knowing it would be ok with his coach be one of those times when you have missed plenny of your tennis games for him be considered as too controlling? Am I being selfish here? Plz Help.
