You sound like you want to finish your goal and achievement first before making that decision. I think you are doing the right thing by getting your education first and then everything else will fall into place. I'm sure you want to be with him and he wants to be with you but if you guys feel like you should part for a while so you can focus on yourself and your education, then you are making a very wise decision. You got to get yourself together first so that you will be ready for whatever life may throw your way.

I don't think that you need to let him go. I think the two of you should come to an agreement about this. What's the rush with getting married? You can continue to have a wonderful relationship without being married.

if he's willing to wait for you, then i say don't quite let go of him. have you heard of promise rings? if you love him and he loves you, this could be a temporary fix before any talk of engagement or even instead of talk of engagement. but if the relationship is absolutely, no doubt hopeless, you should break it off. it's better to lose someone when the ties aren't binding you so tight.

Why let him go if you love him? Love is not everything, but neither is money. Without the happiness that love provides, life is almost meaningless. If he's willing to wait, then let him be.

Have him wait for you. If he loves you then he will wait till you can put something into the relationship. I think you are so responsible and I respect you for making such a nonselfish decision. GOOD FOR YOU!

I don't see any reason why you can't be married and still acheive all of your dream and career goals.

I work at a company where there are many women in very powerful positions who are married... some even have children.

Why can't you marry him and finish your engineering degree? Or, if for some reason that's impossible, you could keep dating him until you graduate.

It's just that simple!

If you really loved him so much, you wouldn't think of letting him go. I think that is your answer.

Forget marriage. Just get together for sex.
