Too controlling?

Ok for all you guys and girls what do you consider as someone being too controlling in a b/f -g/f relationship?

Could asking your boyfriend to go with you on a class trip and miss his first soccer game of the season knowing it would be ok with his coach be one of those times when you have missed plenny of your tennis games for him be considered as too controlling? Am I being selfish here? Plz Help.

I think what you need to consider is his feelings here. Sure you may have missed some of your tennis games but were any of them your first game? You need to just let him decide for himself and not pressure him. If you pressure him, he will end up resenting you.
