It's feeling empty inside, completely hollow, then overpowered by something you have never really felt before.
It's thinking about your partner all the time, being able to connect anything you see or read with something your partner says, does, or believes.
It's like floating, flying, speeding a Lamborghini Gallardo at 240 km's per hour past police stations, like taking ten rollercoaster rides at the same time....
It makes you dizzy, but you love this kind of dizzy, and you want more and more of it.
It's noticing the oddest little things that your partner does, like the way they smile when they look at you, you learn to interpret their different "looks" and the moods that come with those "looks".
It's lying in bed and thinking of your partner, then not being able to sleep.
It's intoxicating, it seducing, it's addictive, it's wonderful.
And yet my feeble attempts at describing it still doesn't tell you what I want to, since I can put this feeling into words.
This is a quote from my favorite movie, and maybe it makes a little bit more sense:
"If I should die this very moment, I wouldn't feel...
For I've never known completion, like here,
Wrapped up in the warmth of you,
Loving, every breath of you."

Geesh that goes up there with what is the meaning of life. It depends who you ask really. If you ask amother she will tell you what love for a children is and the sacrifices she makes. If you ask lovers, you will certainly get a steamy answer. If youask a pet owner err. well, lets skip that one. If you ask a scientist it will describe how the endocrin system works and how it affects you mood.If you ask a poet you will get the most beatifull pisturesque description.

love is being able to talk to a perosn about nothing for hours on end, its trusting the person and not taking little things for granted, its going out of you way just to see him/her smile, its missing the person right after you hang up the phone or walk away, its being able to be together for years on end and not have sex, its being able to drown in their eyes, its being able to date them and only see them once a month, its so much more than a four letter word, its an emotion, its a state of mind, its a being, you get lost in the other person, you can almost read their minds and you know whats going through their mind.. love is love..

Love is when you are willing to put the feelings, dreams, and health, of someone else above your own. When you are willing to do anything for a person with no thought of reward or similar feelings in return. You will know it when you have it,

You asked:
True Love is something that lasts a life time. Love is something you can search out your whole life through & never find it, until you find the Love of Jesus.
After I accepted Jesus into my life, I prayed my husband into my life & Jesus gave me the ideal (someone who isn't perfect, but is rather well suited for me) person with whom, I can sepnd the rest of my life with. I'm coming up on my 10th year Anniversary in a few months.

the feeling you have towards the person that makes you laugh the hardest, fall out of your chair laughing, crying, short gasps for air...when something was not even a joke, it was just a crack head moment.
