I know it comes off as crazy, but I used to cut my arms back in the day when I didn't know how to cope with pain and deal with people who constantly betrayed me.. I haven't done it for A LONG TIME but the scars are there..

I'm a sweet girl, I just didn't know how to cope with some things.. Don't think I'm some psychotic 51/50 'cause I'm not.

At any rate, MEN, would you date a woman who used to be a cutter? Would you be embarrassed of the scars on her arms? Or would you try to be understanding and compassionate?

Well Scorpio X I personally would not have a problem and would think highly of you, that you were able to deal with what must have been some big issues in your life.
There is a saying "If it does not kill you, it will only make you stronger!"
I have worked with cutters who have dealt with their issues and have not only got on with their life, but have done things that were quite exceptional - This is because inside you have become a strong and brave person. If the scars are a problem for you maybe in time, it might be possible to have them removed.
Meanwhile remember " Those who mind don't matter and those that matter won't mind!" Stay strong!...

Well, I'm new to this. But me personally if I'm actully interested in you and you tell me about your situation. why would I leave you? I mean won't a person think that would lead to another incident. That would actually lead for me to profess my feelings of love to you. So that you won't think that you are in it alone. The cuttin that's nothin. If a person can't accept the whole package then don't sign for it. Oh yeah and the scars, if anybody got a problem with it. I'll let them figure out how long it will take for their scars to heal.(That's if you were with me.)

I can't say yes or no. It would depend on the girl.
As for the scars on your arms you can get a special cream that will remove the scars and turn them back into healthy skin. It is called Swean Cream you can get it at most drug stores just go in and ask them about it.
Good Luck to you.

I'm not a guy... but if you have changed from then and you don't cut now then it shouldn't even matter. but if you're still cutting and I was a guy I would probably feel awkward cause to me that action would say I don't trust my emotions to be shared with you there for I'll try to work them out within myself... but don't just not cut for a guy... do it for yourself first and everything else will come into play.

I would be compassionate as a friend, but I would have serious reservations about dating a woman who use to be a cutter.

I am always compassionate and understanding to a fault. So is the Savior. I try to be as much like Him as possible. Redemption exists. Thank the Lord for that!

Good luck, hon,
IM me anytime you need to talk.
