He works off shore, and I don't see him much. I'm driving down to his house the weekend before V-Day, and I have no idea what to get him, or what to do. Should I bake cookies before I go down there or something? I wanted to do something special for him because I'm just so proud of what he's doing with his life right now.

I have no idea what he has planned for me, but I still want to be sure I do something special too.

Thanks!

If he's out on an offshore oil rig with a bunch of ugly men with 5 o'clock shadows all month, he'll be happy just to see your pretty face!

Remember, most men basically don't care about Valentines Day - that's a WOMAN thing!

All you have to do is show up, kiss and hug him, have dinner with him and then give him a whole lot of sex (I mean a LOT of sex )!

Basically that's all men want for Valentines Day - steak and sex!

I'm sure you can handle it (and when he gets back on the offshore platform he'll be dreaming about you for weeks!)

Chances are he didn't think of anything...But that's OK guy's aren't wired that way, but it does not mean he doesn't love you. So what to do.... When you see him say your kid napping him and take him to a quiet place decorative to a theme like an island, tropical deserted place and tell him, that your stranded and for the first hour you must feed each other fruit, wine and cheese. Then you must take turns giving full body rub... no sex yet though... Then you go out and watch the tide come in or out and every other wave for 10 to 15 times tell each other what you like about each other... The time you spend for each other is more important than what you give or do for each other... Then pray together if you can do this and both believe in your heart and plan you will not need a valentine's day... :)

www.bookbyyou.com they make special books where they put your name and your fiance's name and if you want (for an additional cost of course) they will even put a picture of the two of you on the back cover. You choose the story line you want, fill in the information and you'll see a 'sneak preview' for free to see if it's something you would like for him. They personalize it very nicely and it's in a beautiful gold envelope when you get it....you could make him cookies and give him the book with it...that way when you are away from each other he can read the book and think of you. It's something a little out of the ordinary and really nice.

going down there should be gift enough, but if you REALLY want to get him something, you should do something that's both sweet and plays upon his interests. good luck!!
