Ok, I met this guy and he's had plenty of gfs before but he's not the cocky player. He's really sweet and he really wants to hang out but see my parents are asian and are really strict about boys especially my dad. What would be a good way to introduce him and whats an acceptable location for a date or hang out. plus, i only had one boyfriend in my life and im a junior. so my parents are new with dating :P

Have this guy come to the house (be on time), dressed nice and decent. Make sure he's got his manners intact. If he's polite, careful with his chosen words, then he should be fine. Some good places to hang out that your Parents would approve is a bookstore, coffee shop, music store (or all 3). They are public locations with lots of people around..........your Parents will feel more at ease. Good Luck! Don't forget to be home on time, not a minute later.........This will give him extra points with your Parents. One step at a time and the easier it will get once they feel that they can trust him.

If you introduce him make sure you show that you are responsible so do good in school, talk with your family, etc. Also make sure he dresses respectfully. A good place for a date would be the mall or a very public place so your parents know there will people so you wont do *anything*.

Like cindy stated your 18 completely able to having a job and an house in which both one among you may stay. in the adventure that they kick her out merely stay strong and best of success.

oh godd... i'm so sorry. i have an asian mother and god, let's just say she has some definite control issues over me and my sister. pick a place that's nice, maybe a fancy-ish restaurant or cafe, but reserved and a place that is appropriate for both your tastes and your parents tastes. a place where you're comfortable will help. (btw, i'm not entirely sure if this works... i haven't had a boyfriend to this day and if my sister has, she's been hiding them. lol.) GOOD LUCK!!!

Someplace with lots of people. My suggestion is a nice restaurant like the Olive Garden. You may get stuck getting chaperoned until they trust him.
