A few months ago, I met this guy at a bar, and I slept with him, and I know that we all have this image that if a person sleeps with someone when they first meet them--however it turned out that we did talk to eachother there after, and he goes to my school, the funny part is--is that I actually like this guy--now I have spontaneously slept with people before, but I was not looking for anything, I saw him again about a week ago, and I did not sleep with him, now to get to the point I read this bood-why men love *****'s and it said that if you sleep with a man when you first meet him he will loose respect for you--should I date him--can I date hime without sleeping with him?--will that be misleading since I slept with him before? Should I persue him? Or just move on?

My boyfriend and I have been going out for about eight months, and (for the most part) I'm the happiest I've ever been. I'm 100% sure that this is the guy I want to spend my life with. Except he doesn't do the small things; the little cute nothings that make girls go "awww!". He doesn't call me just to say hello or goodnight, he doesn't buy me flowers, or anything for that matter...(he did buy me a xmas present, but it was xmas for gosh sakes)he doesn't hold my hand in public unless I grab his hand first, he's cheap w/ his money & all he does is work on his truck 24-7. We've talked about the whole truck issue before, but just today he told me that he feels like i'm getting in the way of him working on his truck(what he loves to do); I agreed to spend some more time away cuz I don't want him to feel like I'm taking that away from him, but he went on to ask "am I..like, your only friend now?"; Although we don't spend much time together anyways cuz he works 24-7, he thinks we do... help!

My best friend went out wiht him for 5 months. I've liked him ever since 5th grade. We were in the same class last year. We both moved to my school last year. He is so cute! I asked him out last year and he turned me down. When ever I try to talk to him, he's like, "No, I will not go out with you." I was going to tell him that his shoelace was untied and then when he walked he tripped and sprung his ankle so I took him to the nurse. Please help me! He calls early in the morning from his job b/c his phone bill is unpaid. He complains he's broke , he's sick, miserable, and don't know what to do. We have a 9 year old that he's seen a couple of times since he's been in and out the joint for 8 years. Anyway, he don't want me anymore cuz he's a coward and he knows he had to earn my trust and he couldn't do it so he screwed around with this old skeezer and he says he's not in love with her but she is a loser by what he says. There is this guy in my math class (the same one from my other question) and he knocks my books off my desk, got 2 afterschool detentions for taking my pencil, stares/glances at me, kicks my desk, picks my desk up, interrupts my conversations and keeps throwing away my stuff (paper, pencils, erasers). When I had a crush on another guy in the same class, he offered to hook us up but I refused. He talks dirty and always asks and says things like: "Do you like black dxxk, white dxxk? The guy that I have been dating for long distance for 6 months said that he loves me and needs me. Then a few days later when I brought up our "relationship" he said that we can't have a relationship because we live too far away (five hour flight).

Then he got all irritable and said maybe when we move closer together in a few years. But then he said "I'm hanging up now, okay? I'm upset. We can talk in like a year." He also said that there are a lot of things that he didn't like about me (which he has never said before...it's like he was just saying that because he was upset).

I am so confused because just days ago he was telling me how much he loves me and can't wait for me to come out and visit him again, how he can't wait to give me my Christmas gift and what a great girl I am. Even in the same conversation that he said we aren't in a relationship he said "I love you" and told me how much fun I am to be with.

What is happening???

Does it sound like he is done with me?

I have a guy friend who I thought was my secret pal, he used to watch me a lot, and be goofy around me. I would get nervous and try to avoid him out of fear I guess of the unknown. But, I got where I like him a lot but nothing never came of it. We kind of had a disagreement abou how things were taken and were not speaking for a while. I would try to get over it by being nice to him but really don't want much to do with him now but he has been trying to be a friend to me. Did I read too much into what might have been friendly gestures by him just as a friend? Should I try to be a friend to him?

The guys I have been with haven't told me straight out that they don't want to take me serious because of "certain" reasons. I mean, I know I did get "intimate" with them too soon or on the first date, but still I don't see that's big enough for them to disappear on me or give me another chance. I'ts not like men are angels anyways. I've never had a boyfriend in my life, and now that I actually want something serious no one wants nothing with me anymore. I don't know how to go back and change things because I know it will not happen, but I mean, why is it such a big deal for guys to know that a girl likes to have some "fun" as well...just like guys do....I wonder if I will get a chance with another guy ever again.?

A guy who's pursued me for 6 months, who I finally went out with, didn't call when he said he would Saturday before last, then he didn't show up to a New Years Eve party (the next night) we told each other we'd meet at. I really like a guy that's sorta old for me! He's been a distant friend of mine for about a year. I confessed to him that i really liked him and he is very aware of it. I asked him if he liked me back but he kinda ignored the question. He's the type of person that doesnt show his emotions. He's sorta the emo type and is rarely happy. He shows signs of liking me but he also shows other signs. I deffinately don't know how to read them. He uses "codes" when he speaks to me....he speaks very intellectual and i can't understand what he's trying to say and he wont admit what he's saying. He used to want my help and then his father died and now he's turned to another girl. We've been through some rough times but through it all I thought he could see that I genuinely was a good person and would be there for him whenever he needed me. I mean I asked people and they told me that after his father died to just let him know I am there for him and that is what I did and I sent him a card which he never said anything about recieving. I would have been there for him and wanted to be so bad to help him with his loss but he didn't call me or talk to me online and I didn't want to bother him.
