yesterday afternoon i helped my bf pack up his apt (with his parents). he moved out of town 4 another job. as i was leaving his mom who i had just met 4 the first time gave me this huge hug while he just gave me a pat on the back and said thanks 4 helping. i just got in my car and left. wonder what he meant by that??? haven't heard from him since.

How do i start talking with him?
ok he added me on msn a long time ago like way before i knew him and we got talking and all and everytime i ask him why he added me on msn hed change the subject , ok so after i grew feelings for him i told him and he said i think ur cute but i just want to be friends..for now (a day later i found out he had a gf) he only talks to me on msn but at school he looks at me alot and smiles at me and once i got mad at him and he started apoligizing in his own way and talked it threw with me. do you think i should make the first move(at school and talk to him) and if you think i should what should i say or how should i get the conversation started?

I have a crush on my friend and i gave into peer pressure by confessin my true feelings to her. The thing is that she claims to have an online bf who she met in an online game and she ahs never seen him in person. Shes completely obssesed bout this kid in the U.S and shes rejected 3 guys along wit me for this guy as she claims to 'love' him. im not sure how much i can take this but my bf ex is sending me mental she keeps adding me on myspace at school she asking why did i block her on msn and coz the only way to town is pass her house she tell my bf who im going town with and wat time she even told him i was cheating on him coz me and my mate was helping my ex home as he was drunk so he had one arm round me and the other round my mate. ive asked my bf to ask her to stay out my life but she wont even though he asked about 5 times now.

It seems like most of the gifts women desire of men just happen to be things that are displayed for everybody to see. Why is that? If you want a great, expensive gift-- then you should ask for something like a new dvd player or a 2 in one blender; something with a high utility. But most gifts women want when it comes from a man in her life are expensive things that are displayed for everybody else to see. In other words not something that has a great use but more of something like a trophy for her to display around.

I invited her FIRST to my house for XMAS so we could spend it TOGETHER, but she accepted her FRIEND'S invitation to some other place, probably a party. And she told me in a very c0cky way "I have gotten LOTS of invitations *laugh* I have so many places to go."

A guy asked me out, and I told him "maybe, I'll think about it." So now I know what my answer is, but he hasn't even brought the topic up at all. I've seen him twice since he asked me out (we work at the same place), but he hasn't said anything about it. Am I supposed to bring it up because he's waiting for my answer or what? I've never been asked out before, so I don't know how this all works.

When it's time for us to leave work, he doesn't wait for me like he used to; he just leaves first or stays back until I leave first. Is he avoiding me? He's not totally avoiding me; we still kind of talk to one another during work, but why does he run away from me when we get off work?

I would like both guys' and girls' opinions, especially if you have experience on this sort of thing. Thanks.

I am 16 and in love with a girl who suffers from a rare heart condition. She is sometimes too ill to move and often has to stay in hospital for long periods of time. I am very worried because she may die and I depend on her completely; we want to get married when we are older. Can you suggest how I might be able to comfort her a little more in hospital? She never complains but is frightened of the dark and often feels anxious and panicky when she is alone.
