I am 13, why do u think that in my school, the boys will always try to ask out a popular girl even tho she may not be attractive, and have a good personality?

At that age boys arent worried about a girls personality at all. Looks play a major part but its really about what people think of the chick if she is popular no one cares how she looks there is your ticket to junior high school popularity and dude wont stay with her that long because once he is popular he says **** home girl i got my boys and its time to find a sexy chick

At 13 most boys know very little about girls other than they are significantly different than boys. Popularity is a big thing and can fade very fast. Your situation is a little different than the norm. That being that guys would gravitate toward attractive girls no matter whether they were popular or not or even if they had the personality of a doorknob.

Guys will ask out anyone they think they have a shot with.
If she's not attractive or fun, why is she popular? Maybe she's easy.

They're just trying to move up the popular ladder.
They don't care, as long as she gets them more pop.
You shouldn't want them, they sound like jerks.
