I bought my bf a cologne gift set, do you think buying him additionally a gift card to chilli's would be nice or giving gift cards is stupid. we're together for 4 month and i'm not sure what else to get him

Gift cards were the number 1 gift last year and I expect they will be again this year. If you get one make sure you get one he can use at his favorite store or get a card which he can use anywhere. If you have only been together 4 months why would you want to get him something else? You should only get what you can afford and please don't think you have to buy his affection because you don't. If he thinks you do then he is a very materialistic person and not worth your time. If it were me and I knew a girl for 4 months I would not feel obligated to get her anything.

Only 4 months - I think the one gift is enough. - He won't remember the gift card - but he might remember a nice special evening spent with you... So, I would go for the 'remembering' factor and not the 'amount of money spent' factor. Good luck.

I think taking him to Chilis is a better idea. You can make him a card that says it's good for "1 great time at Chili's" or something like that. The cologne is nice espedcially if you like the way it smells! You can also get him an inexpensive ring, something he can wear and think about you. :-) Like from a music shop or something $5 or $10 ...
