I was just dumped today, 4 days before Xmas. My boyfriend is 20 years older than I am and we live together. We had our share of problems but this is a pretty low blow. I have no one here during Xmas so I will be spending it solo. My mother is going back home to California where we are originally from. We have only been in Texas for a year and my boyfriend has lived here for over 25 years now. We work at the same place but not in the same department. Not working in the same department does lesson the effect a bit.

I know in the past we have had our share of issues. It all came to a head during my mother’s Bday party last night. My boyfriend has been getting pretty emotionally abusive lately since I got sick a few months ago with an ovarian cyst. My sex drive had been through the roof in the past but lately (I’m in my mid thirties) things have been off kilter since my cyst. Well my boyfriend has a wondering eye at times and was eyeing my mother’s best friend and my best friend during the party, and I called him on it. He instantly got emotionally abusive, cussing and ranting about how F**!* up I was for saying that. Well we discussed it a short while when we left the party and I apologized and he said we could put it past us.

Well to make a long story short this morning I called to check up on my man and he never said I love you and we always say that. He also stated that he didn’t’ want me coming back. I told him “But I’ll be alone for Xmas”. He said, “I’m sorry but….”.

I have a butt load of things to pick up from his place. He never even asked where I would go. It’s 4 days before Xmas too. His friends tell me that he’s too set in his ways and I deserve better. They also said he hasn’t totally gotten over his previous relationships.

We were supposed to exchange gifts this Sunday but my friends and family say to not give it to him and to get my money back for the presents.

I have to go over there after work and he told me after I called back that he will have my things ready to go when I get over there after work. I told him that this was really low but he kept saying, “I’m sorry but I like being alone right now”

I feel since I’ve been with him I’ve had to make up for past relationships, trying to make this one go smooth. He’s selfish. He can’t deal with anything like “disagreements, change, etc.”

Here’s my question, should I give him his gift and how should I act when I go over there. I’ve cried a river since I’ve been at work and he dumped me at 8:30 a.m, this morning.?

Then Yesterday a different boy asked me out and i said no then he told me he would take me to this movie i wanted to see he said he was serious so i said yes but then today he says he was just joking
Now today my guy-friend winked at me and has been really like freakish nice to me when normally we make fun of each-other, just joking around

These guys have never liked me b4 and ever since my mom and i had this talk about me being more confident in myself these guys have been acting like this???

What should i do and what is going on???????

theres this girl who knew my bf ages ago (and liked him) like over a year ok. well he dont want to talk to her anymore and made that pretty clear. we hadn't heard from her inawhile but lately he got this random txt from a girl claming to know a friend of his saying her name was melissa. she just asked random quetiosn and stuff. well we were confused so rang the number and found out it was this girl from ages ago pretending to be someone else using a different phone. is that really sad and desperate or what! am i wright in thinking shes not over my bf?

do you believe in love? do you believe love is fact or fiction? well, here is the truth, its fact. There is this boy. Hes my boyfriend. he says he loves me and i love him too. he doesnt know this but i cry, i cry a lot. my grandma,(whom took care of me) died when i was 2. and my dad has been in jail since i was 7. my grandpa hates me, i live with him because my mom lives far away and i havent seen her in 11 years, i dk where shes at. my brother didnt make it out of the hospital after birth, he died in my dads arms at 2 minutes old. my other brother, i never seen him. for the first time in my life i feel like someone cares, i think i love him. i cry when hes not there, i get butterflies when he is but i feel 100% comfortable with him. I cannot describe him, do you think i am in love?

I went speed dating when i was 16 years, thats 8 - 9 years ago. Though when i did in a room of 20 girls 20 guys all about 22- 25 , cut a long story i was nurvus then 16yrs & did'nt get one girl to agree to see me afterwards.

recently he went away on business and came back different. He was starting to criticize how my body looks when I 've always looked this way. I do not recognize the sweet guy i fell in love with anymore. He is telling me that we might be different and need to take a break from each other. Why do you think is the cause of that sudden change? I think he might have met somebody else and fell in love with her. What should I do? I really love him. It is driving me crazy and I do not want to lose him. I confronted him about that. He told me that it is just a figment of my imagination.
