I am really quite shallow and base an awful lot on looks, Lets put it this way. No matter how much of an amazing personality you may have I would never know because If you werent attractive to me I wouldnt even speak to you to find out.... Hell jabba the hut could have a great personality but would you ever want to talk to him the find out....?

Arent we all Shallow...? But only some of us are honest enough to admit it......?

Me and my ex still talk on average once a week. For those who know me, she's the one who broke my heart in 1997. When we talk, we just talk about regular stuff but at times it's a little more "interesting". Sometimes she asks me to go out with her and her friends on the weekends and at other times jut me and her. I've never went but she still extends the invite about once a month. She is married, as am I. Both very unhappily married for what it's worth. She tells me all the dirty little details about her marriage, good and bad. She often tells me that she wishes things would of turned out differently. What do you think she wants from me? I do not want anything more than just a friendship. She hurt me too bad 10yrs ago and even though I've forgiven her, my heart never will. What should I do about this situation?

She know's that i don't want anything from her, and I usually think she understands until she starts talking about "us".
