I've my relationship (engaged) with my bf and we gonna married next year. He's from the States and I am from Dominican Republic. well, as his wife i will become, he wants me to go the states and live with him together. For that, we need the visa. he had been working alot and me too for save up money. Yesterday we were talking about the spends it requires for succeed the marriage visa which is kinda expensive ($600-1000 dls). he told me what we gonna do is to share the spends (each of us will pay the half-to-half). I didnt offended by that, but im just wondering if in the future things will be this way. Is this correct? I mean i'm not a spoil who wants everyhing-i-wish and neither I dont have any problem sharing.

is this a good sign of a good marriage? i mean,... the fact of know how to share things with your couple... can someone clear up this to me?

I just need some direction! In May I met a really great guy there was instant chemistry however shortly after we started dating he had to leave town for a few months, during this time, he cheated on me and I decided we would be friends until he returned. While he was away I started talking to another guy and he and I fell for each other the only thing was that he lives 15 hrs away. He tells me he wants to be with me and that he will be moving to my town so that we can be together, get married and start a family. But he seems to just be putting it off almost as if he tells me these things just to keep me. Now my ex calls me late at night telling me he really screwed up and that he wants me back so that we can repair our relationship and he also tells me he wants a family with me. I love both of them so much and I don't want to hurt either of them and people tell me to follow my heart but its the reason im in this mess. Some please help me!!!

I was really into this guy and he said he was really into me too.

We talked on the phone for hours at a time and I had a wonderful time hanging out with him.

We slept together Friday and everything seemed to be going perfectly. I really enjoyed being with him and was hoping to see him again soon.

Yesterday, I got a call from his boyfriend.

Yes, you read that right, his boyfriend called me. According to this guy, the guy I was with was "confused" and didn't know what he was doing. Also told me that this guy has a history of hardcore drug use and was in rehab.

I confronted the guy I was with and he said that he wasn't with the guy and that he wasn't gay. He told me that he did lie about his drug past because he wanted me to accept him.

What the f uck?

My boyfriend broke up with me 5 weeks ago. Stated he still loved me ad wanted to be with me in the future but needed to get his life together.

He had a falling out with a friend of mine about a year ago. After that he constantly told me how much he hated her, despite the fact that it upset me.

At a party just 6 weeks ago he wouldnt even talk to my friend. And almost didnt come b/c he didnt want to be in the same car as her.

Now I found out that he showed up at her b-day party and gave her a present. I happened to be out of town which is why I was not at the party. But he didnt know I wasnt going to be there.

What was his motive? Why is he going to my friends party? cosidering just a few weeks ago he couldnt stand to be near her?

I feel so deeply traumatised having been dumped 6 months ago. I have recovered a lot through time, and I have tried to date other girls. However, is it normal to feel so hollow, withered and weak inside? My heart feels like it's in hibernation and I find it so hard to cheer up.
Anyone have any decent advice? I know time is a healer and they say, what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. I am sorry - but I strongly disagree. What doesn't kill you, injures you severely.

not physically cheat? to me that is emotionally cheating, and is more damaging psychologically. i spent the last couple months quiet about my gf's best friend, she parades him around like a poster boy. i had no reason to believe that she was actually cheating because they live far away from each other. but just the way she brags on this guy, and dogged on me, she made me out to be a second rate man. on top of that my friends kept coming to me showing me her myspace, and all it was was about her and this guy, she even took it to the point to post underneath a picture of her and this guy that he was the only one that made her truly happy. it made me feel like a complete loser, and an idiot for just standing by blindly. so i finally called her out on it and she completely went off the wall and broke up with me. the relationship was failing anyway and i knew this was coming, what do you think?

My cousin has been living with her boyfriend for over ten years. The strange thing is he doesn't sleep with her at night, only when they share intimacy. I just found out that he sleeps in the basement. He comes up with one excuse after another such as her mattress doesn't feel right. So she went out and replaced them, he still didn't sleep in her bed, then it was some bull about he likes to fall asleep with the tv and she doesn't. They don't go anywhere together other than to go and eat on occassions. She seems to be ok with their arrangement and she feels he really loves her. What do you all think?
