It is common while dating,
It is unworkable long term.
My advice to you is look for brains.
I spent 15 years in Newport Beach, still love it, but it was not until I realized that another beatiful person will be by in a few minutes.
That I realized what was killing me and my other Serial Dater Friends, was that we failed to realize that if the Fundamentals are not there, Brains and Maturity, and if you do not look for those FIRST, you will be on a rollercoaster, the rest of your time.
It not like "Shallow Hal" where life changes, it is just that common sense makes the Flakes and Uneducated sort of invisible, so when someone balanced comes by, you can focus. There is no shortage of cute and exciting when you are single. 60% of the OC gets divorced, So there is never a shortage of good looking single people. So you have to sort for Brains, First. Then you are rarely dissappointed. And Never Fall for Someone who does not treate you at least as well. It is called unrequited love and is the subject of many Tradgedies.

I think you can, but I have a question do you knowfor sure if he/she doesn't love you back and is not just scared that maybe you're not in love with them? Me and my ex boyfriend were friends first but we both had massive crushes on each other and liked loved each other but were to afraid to tell each other so we went out with other ppl until his cousin finally told me one day, and we were together till he moved away 4 college...
So all I'm askin' is make sure that person KNOWS you love em and don't just assume they don't because wrong signals or whatever...

It's very possible for you to fall in love with someone before they fall in love with you. However, if this is an ongoing thing, then it's not healthy for you. Why bother staying in love with someone who doesn't feel the same way about you? You probably deserve better so I wouldn't waste my time.

Yes and I have been swimming in that dream pool before. The truth is you can't make someone fallin love with you and hoping that will change will drive you mad. Keep your chin up, there's someone for everyone, they just don't show up until you stop looking. Good luck:)

Yes its possible...happens very often...
As soon as you know they are not in love with you...you need to move on...
It will eventually fall apart...plus why waste your time on someone who is not in love with you... Its the greatest feeling in the world when two people are in love with each other...
Move on!!!!
Good luck!!!

true love is someone who used to be part of you, but was separated from you. now people walk all around the world trying to find the 'other half' of themselves. yes you can be 'in love' with the person, but he/she's definitely not your true love (if you believe in true love). one sided love does not work out well for either one of you. if i were you i would accept his/her feelings and move on.
best of luck!

Definitely, in fact I think it is hard to have a relationship where both partners feel the same. I think one person always loves more.
