I am 35 years old single,I am very shy and hard to grab a girls attention. I am american, I have been datine Brazillian girls from regulalr singles dances,,,,Now I am getting so into ot I am now going to brazillian clubs. I cant speak pourtuageses. DO I have a good cahnce on metting someont there? if a girl is happy in her new relationship . . would she still be calling her ex that she dumped for this new guy every couple weeks? . . .even though he hasnt answered or sent her something back in 4 months? and she still tries to contact him . . also . . can girls act completely happy on the outside and really be torn up on the inside? is there any way to tell if a girl is feeling like that? . . and if she wanted her ex back why would she still be with me and acting fine? why wouldnt she go back to him? maybe because she dumped him and doesnt know if he will take her back? they did go out for 2 1/2 years so i dunno . .. whats goin on?
and she hasnt told me that shes been calling him . . . and we have been dating since april and have been in an actual relationship for like 2 months . . . how long would she use me as a rebound if thats what i am? wouldnt it be over by now?

Hi...as you can see I'm confused. Don't know what to do. I live in Ireland and I'm going out with someone I have a good job and anyone looking at me would think I'm sorted for life but I'm not.

I lived abroad for 2 years and was going out with a guy there for a year and a half and I still love him and want to be with him, but there's no life over there. Unemployment is high so the standard of living is not great. We speak often and e-mail each other and he still loves me but he won't move over to Ireland because he has his own restaurant over there.

I don't know what to do. The guy I'm seeing the past 5 months is great but I don't love him.

What should I do?

I have a friend from college that I knew pretty well. We worked several late nights in the labs together. Anyway, I talked to her the most of anybody there! I called her after that to set up a time to hang out and catch up. She called back to say she wants to also. Since then, we have been in constant contact about setting up a time to meet, and we are meeting this weekend. We talked for half an hour yesterday concerning where to meet and when as well as other things. We decided to meet before the game, walk to the game, and hang out while there. When chatting, I tell my close female friend that I'm glad she had a good night out-also feel happy for her if she met a boy(possibly pulled). Sometimes I encourage her to make a move on a boy she mentions. Basically when I do this, she always explains herself to me i.e. I went straight home, I didn't go out or pull anyone, I don't fancy him etc....

Even though I'm usually joking around, not being serious (her business anyway).

WHY does she do this???

there's this guy at my school, and when school was over this afternoon, we passed by each other and I looked at him because I thought I was going to run into him or something because I don't really watch where I'm going sometimes, and he looked at me while we were like 2 feet away and he smiled...and then, one of my friends, she told me that he was staring at me and he was smiling too...and then she said that he looked mad...

Ok, I have a very close guy friend that is in a triangle. He has an ex-girlfriend that he was with for over a year. Although they love each other dearly, they broke up because the relationship just wasnt going anywhere. They are still very close friends. They've both been dating other people but they still manage to still chill together. Well he started dealing with this new girl that goes to the same church as them. The new girl is kind of jeoulous of the close friendship the ex and my friend has. She told him if they were going to continue seeing each other he would need to stop talking to his ex. To him his ex is not just an ex but a friend. He wants to get to know this new girl but he is not sure if he should give up his friendship for her. (Just a tip, he slept with new girl but has never slept with the ex). What should he do?
