YOUR FRIEND SHOULD NOT GIVE UP A FRIENDSHIP FOR THE SAKE OF A RELATIONSHIP THAT MIGHT NOT WORK OUT. IF THIS NEW GIRL CAN'T UNDERSTAND THAT THEY ARE JUST FRIENDS AND SHE HAS ALREADY SLEPT WITH THIS GUY SHE SHOULD BE CONTENT BECAUSE HE NEVER SLEPT WITH HIS EX SO SHE IS JUST TRYING TO RULE HIS LIFE DON'T LET THAT HAPPEN TO YOUR FRIEND. ATLEAST HE WAS HONEST ENOUGH TO TELL HER THAT HE AND HIS EX ARE CLOSE FRIENDS

A true friend will be there for you no matter what the situation. So if he truly values her friendship he wont give it up for a girl he just met. Especially if the girl is already trying to decide who he can and cant date. A girl will come along that will understand he has friends, even if it is his ex. And that will be the girl for him.

Ditch the new girl and keep his friendship with Ms X, which could actually still develop in to a deeper relationship...even if not, it is more valuable. Women who dictate who their man's friends can be are selfish and manipulative. He doesn't owe the new girl anything more than the X just because he slept with her.

this new girl has no right to tell your friend what to do... she might be jealous, but your friend should make clear that if that's going to be a hindrance in their new friendship (between your friend and the new girl, that is), then they shouldn't see each other at all. it's pretty much unfair, you know... for all three of them...

stay with the friend. if she is asking him to choose between her and the ex/friend, then she isnt the right girl for your friend. if she really cared about him then she wouldnt try to change him or stop him from seeing his friends (even if they were ex's). plus the friend will always be there. the girl probably wont be.
good luck to ur friend and i hope this helped!!!

i will tell you one thing jealousy is a very bad thing to have to deal with.....i would tell this new girl that if she is so insecure that talking with your ex causes problems, then you need to say bye, bye all this will be is trouble...it starts with controlling little things and the next thing you know she will be trying to control everything.....they dont call jealousy the GREEN EYED MONSTER for nothing
