A friend of a friend who I sometimes see around is really nice but never seem to get the chance to speak to her, think I could get her mobile number off a friend, is there any easy way to approach this?

just speak to her as a friend, if u get the feeling she is interested in you.. casually ask for her number to 'keep in touch'. then in few days time..and maybe if your slightly nervous bout talking on phone, text her just to say hi and to mention going out sometime. a text is less intimindating.. it doesnt put anyone on the spot, and it is alot less nerve wracking than speakign to some1 u like over the phone!

Ok I not sure about your age but my sons been using these Crazycard things from wap.mr-skillz ....something about some cards that say 'Do u Like me...' and then the girl can respond accordingly...more original than a text, less embaressing than a phone call.

Subtle is better and more natural. Ask her if she like to join you for coffee or you need help fixing something (nothing that is too difficult). The key is to say anything so you can spend as much time with her as possible to see if you guys click.

If you can get her number from a friend just simply call her up and tell her your name... and ask her if she would like to go out Saturday night. If she says no...oh well move on. Stop stressin over something that you can't control!!!!

If you really need advice from a bunch of strangers on yahoo I don't think anyone is going to be too interested in you. Get a grip, get a life and go and live it - then, and only then, might anyone be interested in talking to you or going on a date with you.

I think she might be a bit freaked out to get a phone call from you if she's never spoken to you in person.
Just keep trying and eventually you'll get the moment to chat and you can get her number straight from her.

You've got to be open and honest. I would not call her number unless she gives it to you. I would start talking to her as a friend and let it develop into something more. Just don't get desperate!

You could send her an anonymous text message sincerely conveying how you feel about her. You can then gauge her reaction by finding out from her friend.
OR you simply walk up to her and ask her out. Good luck!

Try to invite her to a movie or something with a group of friends. You could even have your friend do it.
I wouldn't try getting her number from someone else, she might think that's creepy...
