does he even know you? it sounds like he is attracted to you but doesn't know about how to let you know other than by checking you out. if you're attracted to him, make the first move- start up a conversation and see if he's your type.

Your smile is where it begins. Always smile! I mean always! Also, play his game. Here are some things to try. Imitating someone you like has always been known as a flirting tool. Find a specific question to ask him or pay him a compliment. Here is a trick. When you think he is looking at you, look at your watch. Then look at him. See if he immediately looks at his. That is a subconsious way to tell. When you catch eye contact, don't give it up. He might look away some, but keep your gaze. He will look several times to see what you are doing. Just try some of these things and see what happens. Most importantly of all don't ever hide that you like him. Let it be obvious. Guys have to have something to work off of and any girl liking them is a thrill. If he likes you he will eat it up. If he just wants to be friends, he'll tell you pretty quick and won't think anything bad about it. I am a quiet shy guy and that is what would make my day.

Approach him and say something innocuously flattering and then retreat. If he's truly interested he'll come after you. Otherwise, his smiling and gawking with his friends could be nothing more than a few boys teasing some chick and having a few laughs from a distance.

Look for a reason to "accidentally" meet either socially or at any other function. A simple smile and Hello does wonders to kickstarting a relationship but most of all be yourself.

He`s shy.If you like him and you want to see, go up to him and say some thing that he can`t misunderstand.Then you can watch him turn red.(smile) some times you have got to make the frist move.
