It seems like every guy I meet on match.com has went through hundreds of women and I want someone who is like myself and who isn't out just to date anyone for a one night stand. I'm looking for a guy who will have respect on a first date. What are others opinions on match.com?

guys, at what point is a girl trying too hard to get your affection?
do you like it if a girl takes a lot of iniative in the reationship or does it usually seem desperate? what about coming on too strong?

Ok. So I go to a boarding school. And last night we had our homecoming..So I went with this really nice and cute guy. Lets call him john. Well we were having a great time until, my friend and her date (who also asked me to the homecoming) came over and started making all these rumors about me. Well her date didn't say anything, but my friend was like,"Yea, and she was cheating on you with my date", making my boyfriend really confused. My boyfriend doesn't believe her, but why is she doing this? Is she jealous? Please help:) thanks

Sorry if this is long but I'm driving myself insane over this situation. My boyfriend and I just broke up because he is going through a lot of crap right now. He has no time and has a lot of stress so he didn't think it would be right to date me. I know this is all true but I'm having 2nd thoughts because a little bit before he broke it off I thought he started to have feelings for his ex who he still hangs around with(could be paranoid though). I don't think she would ever take him back though because of his past. I also worry about him because he is such a great friend, I have a feeling all this stress in his life could lead him back to his past of drugs and alcohol. If he went back to that I would not date him. If everything calms down in his life I could see us getting back together but now we are just friends-but should I even think about getting back with him? If every time he goes through a crappy situation and breaks it off I don't think I'll be able to do it.

It bugs me that when she was in her mid teens she was licking & getting licked by girls. I don't hate homosexuals or bi's thats like o them hating me for being straight. We've talked about children & it's weird for me that th possible mother of my children knows what another woman tastes like. We are so in love, I love her & I don't worry about her past but it comes up every now & then & it's just strange She tells me that I'm not open minded & that love shouldnt worry about gender I love my male friends. This guy that I have been have a passionate "friendly" relationship. We had gotten closer and I started to have deep true feelins for him. He intrigues me too. We can go on talkin g for hours if we wanted to, but instead i relax by massagin his back down ( bad back problems) and so he'll feel better ya know. I'm about five foot six inches - pretty short for a guy. I consider myself however to have good dressing style and a cute face (I've been told so on many occasions), and for my size I got a nice body, however I'm short. The problem is at bars, I don't even really feel like getting off the stools and going to other groups and meeting people cause I feel so short. I'd like to get over this, and feel attractive at the same time (which is how I feel when the place ain't so packed. I wanna walk freely and talk to whoever, yet feel I am constantly being judged and compared. I wanna get this out my head, and I know its possible cause I've seen other short dudes who just don't care and go wherever.
