Just curious---

What complications could arise?

What happens when kids come in the picture?

Could such a relationship survive? , and if so---do elaborate or provide an example of a real situation that you know about.

Yes, The relationship could survive if there is enough love there.
Complications- I read over and over second hand smpke is worse than what you inhale from a cigarette.
If children are involved it could really be bad for their health.
But again, love conquers all, A person might even quit smoking for the people they love, but I don't think smoking it self would end a relationship.

Of course. Every person I have ever dated since the time I was 16 has smoked and I don't. As long as it is not done in the house I do not have a problem with it and that has never been a problem that came up. My best friend is not a smoker and her husband is. He smoke outside away from her and their children. They have been together for 14 years and married for 11.

Sure they do! I lived with a guy for about 4 years and he smoked. We have one son together. He was not allowed to smoke in the house or car, and we never had problems regarding his smoking.

My husband smokes. The smell makes me sick! He tried smoking outside for awhile, but now he smokes inside with the fan on! As long as the wind is blowing I'm fine!
