Ok. So I go to a boarding school. And last night we had our homecoming..So I went with this really nice and cute guy. Lets call him john. Well we were having a great time until, my friend and her date (who also asked me to the homecoming) came over and started making all these rumors about me. Well her date didn't say anything, but my friend was like,"Yea, and she was cheating on you with my date", making my boyfriend really confused. My boyfriend doesn't believe her, but why is she doing this? Is she jealous? Please help:) thanks

Jealous as hell. Tell her to bugger off.

Don't sound much like a friend to me. Yeah, she could be jealous or she doesn't like the fact that you and her won't be hanging out together much while you and your new boyfriend go out.
Either way, good luck and glad for ya.

Sounds to me like she was jealous. I'd confront her and ask her why she said those things. Don't trust her anymore. She's not a true friend.

I think she might be jealous because not only do you have a boyfriend, but her boyfriend was hitting on you too. You might want totalk to her and see exactly why she was doing that.

she's definetely jealous because you got asked by her date. don't pay any attention to her, as long as your boyfriend believes you, you shouldn't worry about it.

Why don't you just ask her yourself? If she's honest, let it go. If she's obviously lieing, get a new frioend. She's not worth your time.
