Singles & Dating - 6 October 2006

We have not seen each other in a month, but he keeps saying "hang on", "give me time". He is studying for a certification test that only 50% of the test takers pass, and it is part of his job. He screamed at me about calling-only time I called today, and then preceded to ask me what was so damn important. By this point I was sobbing, my heart racing. I had been married to a wife beater before, and this has really scared me for him to treat me this way. Needless to say, I promised him I wouldn't call, only to call him back. He then proceded to say no, don't be that way. I'm still upset this afternoon. Should I give him another chance, or just let him go and say forget it? I love him, but he has never been able to say he loves me. Any thoughts?

Okay, so I've asked some previous questions about this reallllly cute guy I like. I found out that last year he has a huuuge crush on the prettiest girl in school. I was crying that whole night. Then, at schoo, whenever I saw or thought about him(which is a lottt) my eyes teared up. How can I get over him? What if I become really obsessed? Is it because I'm ugly? I used to like a guy who was a little older than me, and now I don't. Now I think I may like his younger bro who is my age. I told the older 1 that I liked him, and that I don't anymore. I think the younger 1 knows I liked his older bro, so it's kinda uncomfortable....

I don't see any of my friends or colleagues outside work because he doesn't have any friends himself. If I do for lunch with someone (even female) and get caught, he goes really funny.
He thinks that going to see my parents is a waste of money. (he doesn't see his parents)
When I'm texting, he walks past and looks over my shoulder.
I go to the gym three times a week. He either comes and has a look if my car is parked in the front, or sits in his car and waits until I come out or walks into the gym to 'see how hard I'm working out'.
If I'm five minutes late from work, he asks why and says 'that's strange'.
He refuses to spend any money one me, every so often he says 'shall we go to lunch' and then I'm having to buy my own.
Etc etc etc. It's beginning to drive me potty. Although everyone tells me 'leave him', I would have liked to check whether I'm being unreasonable

You know those e-invites on email? When someone is throwing a party and they send out an invite through email and you are able to rsvp, well my question is; if someone rsvp's for themselves plus a guest is that guest most likely a girlfriend/boyfriend? Lets say it is a party where the host is a good friend of yours, and you rsvp for yourself and a guest, would you only bring someone if you really liked them?

I ran into this guy about 7 months ago and we really hit it off talking.I was still bitter about catching my ex cheating on me,he listened and understood.He drove me home that night and I invited him to stay.I asked him to sleep in the bed with me,he did,I askewd him to puit his arm around me,he did till i slept.He was such a gentlman.I saw him once since then and he came to me and said"your killing me",my ex was also there so we had to keep quiet(they are friends)I mutual friend told me he likes me but is freaked about my ex(who is still trying to get me back)It has been 7 months since that night and I still think about him.There is this yearly party coming up that I was invited to and my ex will be there(which does not bother me)and so will this guy,but this guy rsvp'd for 2,meaning he is bringing a date.I want to go so I can see him,it has been a long time,and would be nice to see him.But I think he may be bringing a date,would you still go?in hopes of maybe getting to talk to him?

I have been dating this guy for almost a year now. He just got out a marriage a little over a year ago. Talking to him last night he said to me, he is scared of getting hurt or hurting anyone else. He also said, he got set up with a blind date, he must have been interested because he asked me how I would feel about that. And if I would still talk and "hang out" with him. My boyfriend was invited to a barbeque by mutual friends of ours ..well we were both invited. But he called me and said he was going to go by himself because we didn't have a babysitter, he didn't even ask me if i wanted to find a babysitter. Which automatically makes me think "ok..he wants guy time" which is cool. so i found a babysitter and made some plans to have some long overdue girl time well when he found out i was all of a sudden invited, My question: 1.
