I ran into this guy about 7 months ago and we really hit it off talking.I was still bitter about catching my ex cheating on me,he listened and understood. He drove me home that night and I invited him to stay.I asked him to sleep in the bed with me,he did,I askewd him to puit his arm around me,he did till i slept. He was such a gentlman.I saw him once since then and he came to me and said"your killing me",my ex was also there so we had to keep quiet(they are friends)I mutual friend told me he likes me but is freaked about my ex(who is still trying to get me back)It has been 7 months since that night and I still think about him. There is this yearly party coming up that I was invited to and my ex will be there(which does not bother me)and so will this guy,but this guy rsvp'd for 2,meaning he is bringing a date.I want to go so I can see him,it has been a long time, and would be nice to see him.But I think he may be bringing a date, would you still go?in hopes of maybe getting to talk to him?

I would go. There is always a chance that he isn't bringing a date but a friend instead or he could just be bringing a date so he won't be alone. You could try just casually talking to him there and just kind of feel out the situation. There might be a chance for you to mention you two getting together, maybe catch up on old time. It sounds to me like he liked you and he probably still does. But I would definitely go, Good luck! I hope you get the guy you want, heck you might even meet a new guy there. :)

Go in the hopes of having fun! Then ask him out after the party - go to dinner or do something fun together or go for a hike plenty of time for talking!! It will be clear that you are interested and there will be no drama at the party. Unless the party is not for a while and you have time to do it before.

I would definitely go hun, if he is there with a date maybe you'll meet the guy of your dreams that night.... if not you can flirt with another guy if he isnt paying any attention to u..... if that happens and he sees you with another guy is true feeling for you will be pretty apparent

YES! go...find him, talk to him, even if he has a date, it doesn't mean he's married, he probably just got tired of waiting around for you. Give him subtle hints that you're still interested and see what he does, if he likes you, he'll drop his other girl. Go and find out, you'll regret it if you don't.

I would still go.
I mean you missed out on it once don't do it again.
And you never know that other person could be just one of his friends.
