You know those e-invites on email? When someone is throwing a party and they send out an invite through email and you are able to rsvp, well my question is; if someone rsvp's for themselves plus a guest is that guest most likely a girlfriend/boyfriend? Lets say it is a party where the host is a good friend of yours, and you rsvp for yourself and a guest, would you only bring someone if you really liked them?

Nope, I'm afraid you can't go by that. Good luck!

I think most of the time the person's guest is a boyfriend or girlfriend or spouse. If it's a big event and you dont' really know the people, though- sometimes they'll bring a friend along just so that they have someone to talk to if they don't "fit in" with the other people there that they haven't met yet.

Yes, I'd only bring someone I really liked to a party. I don't usually spend much time with people I don't really like. If I didn't have a special someone, I'd go alone. I wouldn't grab just anybody to count as my "guest" because generally speaking, the "guest" is supposed to be your significant other.

Slow down, this doesn't necessarily mean a bf/gf. It could really be a friend of the same sex or whatever. It can be anything and/or anybody. You might just have to wait and see.

No, people sometimes invite people who they think they'll be able to talk to in case the party sucks.
