No.
Yeah, people can me "mature" for their age but that doesn't always make up for the difference. People can be very mature 16 year olds but that does NOT make up the difference between them and a like 20 year old because the 20 year old has experienced more life and more of the real world.
A 16 year old who is simply mature, cannot possibly know what the real world is like or what college is like.

Age is only a number. In most cases anyway. If the two people are mature enough for each other then it should be no problem.
The only thing where age may become a factor is when the two people are in different stages in their lives. Example.
I was 20 and this woman I was dating was 25, she had already been divorced for sometime but she was ready to settle down. We got along great but I wasnt ready to be married or have children. She was therefor we split because we wanted two different things.
This case we were good together but since she was older and already had her experiences that left me with little time to do anything.
Any other time age is only a number.

Are you the same person as you were when you were 5 ? Are you the same person as you were when you were 15 ? And do you think you'll be the same person at 40 ? Age is way more than just a number. How connected can a 20 and 60 yrs old be ??

i dont think age is that big of a deal, me and my guy are 4 years. which is not a big difference, but it does become hard, b/c he has had some experiences that i never want to go through. but then again there is debate about the law. i am 17 and he is 20 almost 21. so i dont have a problem with it. i think if you 2 are mature enough to deal with the age difference then it is fine

As long as both ages are above 18. if one of the ages happen to fall under 18 then hell no. Its the law know matter how you feel about it personaly. Age is only a number when what can be legaly called an adult is involed with another adult.

I agree, as long as both people are mature. For instance, I am 35 married to a 27 year old, we have been married for 4 years. and we get along great. However, my best friend is 31 and her boyfriend is 21 and they can get along some of the time... not usually. maybe its not age that counts, maybe its how your personalities fit together.

As long as both parties are over the age of 21 y/o....I don't think it matters what the age difference as long as both parties are happy with each other. I'm 35 and my husband is 48....We have a great relationship.

Yes age does not matter. I have this real special friend, she is really great. We communicate well together and frequently.
I tell her my secrets and fantasies and she tells me hers. We are a distance apart now and cannot connect for now. I am sad cause she is the love of my life.
There is an age difference but I don't care. When you are in-love it does not matter. I am the one that makes it matter for her and the one that turns her on.
