but you sound so desperate.. There's more to life before getting to that point. Go back and try again, try to be friends with who's around you first. they may seem very little but you'll find more to them and you could make best friends of the nerd next door or the shy girl/guy across the street. You just need to believe in urself, then others and don't mind what ppl judge them, they never knew any better.
Don't let yourself be a loner sweetie, you can make that change =)

You sound lonely. Maybe you should try working on friendships offline- take up sport or going to the gym. It'll let you meet people, and all exercise is good for confidence. If you're feeling really down and isolated, ask yourself if maybe you've depression.
