I'm a junior and it seems girls seem to care more about their social image than dating a nice guy that isn't popular or well-known. It sucks how if you are a loner with no friends taht you get ignored by all the girls. Even if a girl thinks a guy is somewhat attractive to them physically or their personality they will completely ignore them if the guy has a low social status. Why?

Why do girls care more about what other people think of their boyfriend than what they do?

u need a job but u r having a long distance relationship and ur mate want to come visit him but it u leave u cant start working right away would u just start working a know that u cant see echother until 2 months from now or would go spend time with him and forget about ur financial problems

well me and him have been on and off for a couple years. we havent had sex cause i am still a virgin and im waiting.he's been bouncing back and forth between me and his ex. they were highschool sweethears. he tells me that they have history and they will always be friends, so i trust that and dont want to take that away from them. but she left me a msg on myspace saying that they were getting back together so i called him to ask and he pretty much tells me im at the bottom of the totem pole and that he hasnt tried to have sex with me cause he didnt want to hurt me..so pretty much he knew he was gonna do this...i told him i was done with him but he dont take me seriously cause ive said it so many times...i just need help...what do i do ????

women say im very confident and often ask me if im single. I am and im not interested in being a player. but it doesnt matter how confident or genuine i am, either her friend will do stuff to pull the girl away even though she has already admitted shes into me, or my freinds says so many useless things or acts odd - he bores her friend and so the friend pulls the other girl away! The uk dating scene is very hard and even though i meet women during the day and in pubs/clubs its so hardcore id have to give up my day job to be successful. Ive got my own life and i dont need a woman, but iwant a quality one... i realsie i may have to date a few before i find someone right for me. Im an attractive guy with a great life and a good job, but it seems almost impossible to make a connection in pubs/clubs over here. and if youve just met someone, the girl is often going to have to pick her friends over you, cause she just met you and has known them for ages.any ideas on how to be more successful?

Has any of you waited around for your ex., and actually got back together. ?
Has any of you got back together with your ex after 6 months or longer (when the time you two split up she/he wanted nothing to do with you), and actually got back together with in time?

Is it worth the waiting (waiting on true love)?

When they wanted nothing to do with you when they split up and you thought you had lost that person for good, you actually got back together again after a long time?

Guys, I have dated alot and just let them go at times. This time instead of moveing on, I am going to be strong. This one is the Love of my life and I believe is my soul mate.

Here it goes:

I have been together for 5 years with my BF.
He is great, caring and loves me. I too love him with all my heart and i am sure that he is the love of my life, except sometimes i find myself fantasysing about what my life would be without him.

Also, he sometimes makes me feel really bad, he has cheated on me and I have forgiven him, and he is very controlling (strong personality, dominating and very inteligent).

I love him anyway but sometimes wonder if this is my path. He doesn't seem to be in any kind of hurry to marry me. What DO YOU think?

I am stuck in a bad marriage with 2 precious children....one who is special needs. We both recognize our situation and operate as partners to run the house and all the medical issues with our one child. The fact is, that we need eachother from a parenting support perspective. We are good friends but just have grown apart and have too any issues. I have found emails to other women on his work email that are flirtatous and inappropriate and internet porn activity. Despite the fact he may not have slept with another woman, I feel that he has left the marriage emotionally. I placed my wedding band and engagement ring in safety deposit box since I don't feel married anymore and want to keep other opportunities open if they arise. I will wait this one out until my children are older and stable which is my first priority. However, I am curious how men feel about married women not wearing their rings? I do not verbally hide my marriage at all but feel the symbolism of rings is not necessary.

the thing is, im also very shy and i cant bring myself to talk to her. i kno i must not be the only person with this problem. im really known for "not talking." i get appraoched by girls so that's usually how i get around. shes the same way but with guys but shes a little more talkative than i am. but since i cant think of anything to say, its an akward feeling between us. i need to fix this shes my date for homecoming lol, but she said i seem too serious, and i get mad easily cuz i got pissed she was carrying a lighter, but she doesnt smoke, she just thinks their cute idk lol. so my question is, how do i get past being shy, and how what should i do to change my her image of me. cuz im actually really patient and funny, although i can be serious but i think i am about the right things. how do i show her that other side of me everyone else gets to see and get past this akward stage?

Okay there's this gurl in my class she a cutie.. and i dont have a problem going up and talking to gurls but she's a little diffferent only because i can't ever catch up with her... I decided after my divorce to dedicate my life to raising my child -child is now grown & its time for me! Problem: I am terrified! I am an attractive 36 yr old female. (this sounds egotisticle, but I am on the higher end of attractive) I went out twice last month - not dates - a family wedding (big bash) & with a friend to a club to watch her husband play in his band. Both were nightmares. At the wedding, 4 MARRIED men hit on me. I blundered through it, but inside I was seething. At the next outing, a very nice guy was interested in me - turns out that he was married & liked "threesomes." I also got stuck having to stay w/my friend at their friend's house, & he wanted to show me his "SEALY POSTUREPEDIC" (Don't get me wrong, I LOVE sex and can't wait to get back "on the saddle" -I feel sorry for the lucky guy!)8) I just think a man should not be married and at least know my middle name before even discussing sex. Do all men act this way? Is this what I should expect? Help!
