I want to surprise my girlfriend, spontaneously this weekend. She loves running (marathons), kids, great food, thailand, jewelry, exploring new places, dancing, and me :-). I live in Saint Louis and want to do something nice for her, within a budget of course since we're in our lower 20's. Any suggestions? Please be creative.

Research a great little Thai restaurant in your area for starters, try to find a place that's off the beaten path. During dinner I would surprise her with a trinket, maybe a small sterling silver charm, or a strung bead necklace with sparkly crystals! Then, if she likes to run, she's got some stamina, go roller skating or blading either at a rink, or rent some in the park. After skating, maybe the two of you can actually play in the park, on the swings, monkey bars, whatever they have there now.

You said it, take her some place new, some where you both have never been before, a zoo, a park, museum, doesn't have to be any place expensive. After wards go to a reasonable place to eat again some place you would never normally eat or a new food choice.
My GF and I often just go some place in town we haven't been before and then just walk around the streets and find interesting off beat restaurants.

get a movie... watch while cuddling her and eating popcorn... or play PS2, xbox together after you can prepare a meal together then eat together.... if it doesn't work bring her where you first met then where you had your first date and reminisce.
