my boy friend was with a girl for 5 years they lived togeather and every thing they even though they had a kid together but she cheated on him.. he told me that he still thinks about her everyday and that he still loves her and her little girl the girl still goes to his older sisters house. then he told me that they would never get back together that he does not want to be with her all they do is get a long then fight should i trust him or not? i think about it EVERYDAY

My man is not acting right. He has been very distant and short with me for the past two months. When I ask him what is wrong he says he's tired. Things just haven't been the same. I think he is taking advantage of my feelings for him by stringing me along. I care for him a lot but I don't want to be with someone who doesn't want to be with me. Nor can I force him to open up when he doesn't want to. I've decided to phase myself out of his life, but I'm having a really hard time with it. I've thrown myself into my work and started hanging out with friends more, but when I come up for air I'm still more sad then anything. I know this is the right thing but it still hurts how else can I move on? 2nd Q is why do guys do that? Why do they sit in a relationship and let it fester into resentment instead of just letting the other person go if they don't want to be there. They will tell everyone else in the world of their discontent expect the one person who needs to know!

working so hard to keep it from them. He does not smoke, but he said that he was sexually attracted to me because of my smoking style...I do not want to quit...but, I feel I should not have to hide it from his parents...I am not saying I should smoke around them, but I should not have to hide my cigarettes and smoking from them...What should I do...he is obviously turned on by my smoking but makes me hide it from some...

recently when i was wid my girl..i found many of her ex-boy friends phone numbers in her out going cal list...i mean to say not 1 boy frnds number but many numbers....and i found many phone bills which contained her ex boy friends number...so i think she s talking to him through public phone booth...so what do yo think my girl is upto...and do tel me wheather i should ask her about this or no...?

I currently like this guy who seems to be grieving over his last relationship, he says he loves her but is not in love with her. when he's around her they get along for one day then the next day they are fighting. He says he doesn't want to be with her though. If he doesn't why is he grieving?

Guy problems??
I am in high school and me and this guy have been TALKING for 3 years....we have never gotten to the dating part it has just stayed at talking...We have gotten past the i like u do u like me stuff....and we both like eachother.....And we both care 4 eachother ALOT...but yet we still are just friends....it's weird because when he wants to try 2 get with me i am supposodly "moved on" and when i am tryin 2 get with him.....it's like umm.....we have been off and on for a while now....any advice???

I think i might even be in love with him and i'm scared to move on and everytime i do move on we always end up talkin again

The guy that i go out with now seems wierd in a way because he really likes me and trusts me one minute and he thinks i'm with someone else the next. OK...just some background. I'm recently new to the dating scene again and found a guy on one of those dating websites that I'd like to get to know. I've subscribed to the site, and would like to initiate conversation, but haven't a clue where to start. Any ideas? A long time ago, like more than 6 months, my friend and I hung out. We kissed but that was it. It was so innocent like caught in the moment type thing. But after that he started getting all crazy and i was leavin and i said "bye love you" to a girlfriend and he was right there and i was directing it to both of them but mostly the girl you know but not like i love you romatically it was like love ya care about you kinda thing. We'll i avoid the hell out of him and he always calls me cryin sayin " I thought you loved me" and " everybody's tellin me you dont really love me" even though i explained to him everything...i dont know he's physco! I explained to him the only affair I had was for 22 years and it never started out as friend ship and i explained to him i want to learn and that he told me I call to much but I am s o used to calling with my other realationship I asked him to give me a chance how do I change and try to make this work I realy like him. he said he want a submissive woman and I am to controlling, but that I am not . I am scared to trust again and to get hurt againI want to be a better woman help me please and no I am not no young woman i am 44 and gave up 22 years up for nothing as I finaly opened up and realized.
