He does not smoke, but he said that he was sexually attracted to me because of my smoking style...I do not want to quit...but, I feel I should not have to hide it from his parents...I am not saying I should smoke around them, but I should not have to hide my cigarettes and smoking from them...What should I do...he is obviously turned on by my smoking but makes me hide it from some...

You need to leave this guy. You smoking is an issue, but not the main issue right now. You never want a person in your life that wants to portray you as something you are not to other people. It means that he does not accept you for who you are-bad habits and all. This may seem minor, but he needs to stop hiding this. DO NOT give him an ultimatum, but you need to tell him that you do not like this and that you want to stop hiding it. If he still wants to hide it let him know (if this is your decision) that you can't be with him anymore. He is probably going to tell you that he will tell his parents at this point, but you shouldn't accept that. He should do it because it is affecting you, not because you are going to leave him which affects him.
If you decide to stay with him, knowing that he is like this then, I can only say to you to buy a really big purse and put your cigarettes way at the bottom.

Some people look down on others who smoke. It isn't right but that is just the way some people are. Letting the parents know you smoke may change their perspective of you. It is a tough decision but one you should definatly think about.

I think you shouldn't have to quit smoking because he does not want his parent to know because if you a person that smoke just be your self if you smoke you just smoke and they are just going to have to deal with it because you were smoking before you meat him why should you stop now because of his parent so if i was you still do what you do or i will talk to his parents my self and i will tell them that i smoke. Its y'all relationship and doesn't have anything to do with his parents about you smoking.

Good Lord...just go to his house and light one up!!!! Why don't you find something to be worried about, honey? You already know smoking will kill you and make you look like a prune before it does. I wouldn't want to smoke because it looks sexy to him. I'm not an anti-smoker, but I think this is a minimal problem. Godloveya.

The fact that he hides it probably means he just thought you were hot and used smoking as an easy intro to talk to you. I am sure if you quit smoking its not like he would start being unattracted to you! Just quit so he wont have to goto your funeral or put your cigs in your stoma!

You need to be straight forward with him and tell him what you just told us. You are adults and hae every right to smoke. You are not children and have no reason hide it, he needs to get over it.
