OK...just some background. I'm recently new to the dating scene again and found a guy on one of those dating websites that I'd like to get to know. I've subscribed to the site, and would like to initiate conversation, but haven't a clue where to start. Any ideas? I've tried just opening up word and going from there but end up thinking it sounds stupid or repetitive. This is a new thing for me, and as shy as I am in person, I'm not at all surprised that I'm having this problem.

BTW...Don't think this is some teenage crush...I'm 26 years old.

Most of those websites have pre-written ice breakers. But if that doesn't work, read his profile and start talking about one of his interests...especially if it's an interest of your too.

Sweetie, be very careful. I am not trying to discourage you, but I know of cases that those dating websites can be very tricky. Be careful what you say and tell the person. Tell someone close to you what you are doing.
Start off very slowly and do not get hang up on a person to soon.
