How do I meet new people and maybe a mate. I am tired of being alone, how do I go about finding someone. I am terribly shy. Each time I meet someone new I always feel they are settling for me. I want to change this. I am not huge but like a size 16 and I know size -0- is in. Help raise my self-steem so I can feel confidnet to meet someone. Suggestions?

we were good friends then i asked him to homecoming, he has this perv hidden side i dont really like. He's always asking me if I want to play with sex dice over the phone and what i'm wearing, and i honestly find it nasty for who he is at school. but my friends say i should break-up with him. But I am feeling more attracted to some other guys. This always happens to me because whenever i start dating some guy, i start not liking them. OK, on this thing I have seen hundreds of questions about a girl and her best friend liking the same guy, or their best friend dating their ex. What is up with that? Why does it bother you so freaking much? It is a guy, a stupid guy, get over it. There are more out there. And so what if your friend is dating your ex. He must not have been that great in the first place. I have had friends steal guys from me, sleep with my guy, make out with my guy, anything you can imagine. Out of my hole dating life, I have only had two guys not cheat on me, and one of them is my husband. But so what if you and your friend like the same guy. What is the animosity about? I like a guy and i think he might like me. well we were both seating down in a service meeting and he looked at me every like 2 minutes and kept smiling at me or would just look at me what does that mean I mean we use to date for like a day like 3 months ago then he just drifted away from each other he also told me back then he didnt know what he wanted how would i know if he is ready to be committed now? but he said "im not sure in which way i do". what is that supposed to mean? after he said it, i said i loved him too, but i told him i didnt want things to get weird between us. he said they wouldnt. but after he told me this, he was acting really weird towards me, and he put up an away message saying something like "thankyou for that sweet phone call, ive had a bad night and it made me smile, thankyou so much"[obviously talking about another girl] i wonder if he tells all the girls that he loves them. hes my good friend and hes really sweet, but i am jsut unsure about the situation.

1= I kind of had a crush on a guy named H since 14
He's kind and nice and we always contact each other, but still there's no special relationship between us....he seems to be my best friend......He like my friend named C...I kind of jelous of her......she's so lucky!!!! and there's a guy named F.....He seems to like me, but I don't really confirm about that.....so, what should I do? Do men ever put the effort into flirting with no intention of it leading anywhere? Here is an example that just happened to me today at work: I walk up to my supervisor and request a brief meeting. He looks at me, smiles and says, "Anything for you" as he holds the door open for me and we walk to his office. In his office I comment that I have a lot of work going on. This is just small talk to me and he comments that's because you can handle it. So I say, "Well, that's what they tell me but we'll see." I was not flirting with this statement. Then he says with a BIG smile, "OH, you can handle it, huh? Really? That's what they tell you?" about three times. This is an obvious flirting gesture and I play along, replying, "Yes, I can handle anything." Ok, so these type of statements happen at least twice a week and then other times he'll see me and act serious. Is this a game men play with just anyone? Is he working up to something? Is he attracted to me? I am to him!!!

Last weekend I took my new 54 year old boyfriend to a family birthday party and their was a 22 year old girl that was wearing a very sexy black lace and red neglihee type shirt. I could not believe my boyfriend. His eyeballs practically fell out of his head. He did not take his eyes off this girl the entire afternoon. I moved my chair away and was hurt and embarrassed in front of my family. Here I am going to show off this new guy after not dating for 7 years and he acts like a pervert!!!! Later he said he thought she was a beautiful girl and he had not had sex for 6 months. How can I trust a guy that would be so uncaring of my feelings?
