Singles & Dating - 14 September 2006

okay, so me, my friend, her ex, and his friend all share a locker. i see her ex's friend, let's call him jimmy, (not her ex) in between classes. i see him in between every class, and all during school, ya know? so, anyways, he confides in me that he likes this one girl. but when i ask jimmy if he's gonna ask her, he said "no, she knows and she doesn't like me". i don't even own a dress, i'm not the prettiest of girls, and probally wouldn't be anyone's first choice to homecoming, but i kinda~sorta wanna go with him. any advice?

we both said some nasty stuff to each other last night. when she started raising her voice at me and what i felt as her insulting my intelligence (my perception not necessarily true) i told her i wanted her to get out of my car which she did....got in her car and we both went our seprerate ways. i did leave a voice mail apologizing to her and that i was out of line and should have been more respectful. I didnt call her today and she didnt call me.....any thoughts as to what i should do?

my b/f came home and started yelling at me cause he was trying to call home from work and he couldnt get through. i wasnt on the phone so i dont know why he couldnt get through. then when he left he wanted a kiss and he never got one so he got pissed and slammed the door. why do they act like this? i didnt do anything wrong and yet he was yelling at me.

Right after I broke up with my ex-bf of 4 yrs, I met another guy. After I already went out 2 dates with him, my ex came bk to me & wanted to work out again before he left for 3 weeks business trip. I told him we'll talk when he gets back. I was still seeing the other guy while my ex's on the trip. I do like the other guy, i think he likes me alot as well (least that's what he told me). We both felt we'd strong connection and it's the way we never felt before. I've been reserved emotionally and sexually because my ex is still on my mind (even though I really like this guy, almost couldn't believe I met this man cuz he's 2 good to be true). Now my ex is back and he's sick from the trip. I feel guilty to bring up the talk, so i've been still seeing my ex and taking care of him while he's sick. I went on a blind date yesterday. Everything seemed to go really well. He complimented me several times. And kept looking at me and smiling. The conversation flowed well. When we got to my car he kind of looked like he wanted to kiss me. He asked me if he could call me I said yes. Then I leaned over to give him a hug and he then kissed me on the cheek. I guess he could tell I didn't want to kiss him at this point. I waited a few minutes todrive away. It looked like he was waiting for me to drive away first. But don't worry he didn't follow me or anything. But it's been a day and he hasn't called do you think he still will from what I've told you. I mean if you really like someone wouldn't you call them the next day to say you had a good time? Just would like some opinions. Honest ones. Does this now mean he didn't like me that much? Since he hasn't called yet.
