My advise is leave her alone. If she doesn't want to have sex, that's her decision. If she wants it but can't get it, still not your business. Most people that are as you say "socially seclusive" don't like being set up so don't go down that road. Just leave her be. She'll get in there eventually.

Well its not really that she's a virgin that is such a problem, but her seclusion that is troubling. There are many people that would be interested in her she sounds like a quality girl. Tell her to get involved in online conversations, where she could practice her socialization skills in a nonthreatening forum. Hopefully it helps her come out of her shell. Its also a possibility that she has one of the many forms of social anxiety disorder. this is curable with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, and she should seek professional help.

Honey she needs a makeover she needs to become the Barbie Chemist. She needs some make up, a new hair style, some new clothes. Take her out to a nice place thats like a club but not a club, give her a couple of drinks to loosen her up and let her get loose I don't think anyone should die a virgin and at the rate she's going she will. GOOD LUCK!

depends..is she happy? Does she desire a boyfriend? Maybe thats not what she wants? Find out what makes her happy and then be a good cousin and help her. If she does desire to have a boyfriend... and have sex... then maybe you might help her find a guy or help her learn how to flirt with guys.
Just remember.... we are all individuals and we all have different goals in life. Maybe her goals are different from the rest of ours?

I guess if that makes her happy, who are we to judge her. But, I think she might enjoy dating. Maybe she needs to stop being so academic all the time and learn to let her hair down. Here's an article on learning to be less serious that she might enjoy:

I'd also recommend that if she wants some romance in her life she needs to learn how to be sexy (as she doesn't sound like she would know how) Maybe you can help her with her clothes and makeup and hair ... and if she needs to tell her to get in better shape.

My advice for her is that she needs to stop hanging out with you. Grow up!
If you TRULY cared bout your cousin, you wouldn't even be asking this question.
Honey -- try being a good cousin and mind your own business. Or, if she's talked with you about this, ASK HER what would make her happy. Where on earth do you people get these ridiculous ideas about sex???

Ask her to teach you how to be free, successful and independent and wanted. she is surely not having a problem with her virginity. It is more a burden for you. She seems to be having a good time doing some wonderful things and making worthwhile contribution to society. I hope she stays that way for another 0 years

Does she like her life and who she is? It would be for her to decide. Maybe she likes things just the way they are. If she doesn't like being a virgin and also wants a relationship, even a casual dating one where sex is involved, well then she's going to have to venture outside of the classroom and the lab, now isn't she?

Not really a big deal. Lots of good people die virgins. As long as she is happy. The only "bad" part is that people like you treat her like some sort of leper because she has never had sex. Who cares? Is sex that important?
