Ok this girl went on a date with me, we kissed, and we talk to each other alot. When we got back to school it seems like she's avoiding me. I asked her straight up if she wanted to be with me and she said "I just want to be friends right now" WE"VE BEEN FRIENDS FOR 3 YEARS!!! I want to be with her more than anything. Me and my boyfriend went shopping for engagment rings, he let me pick the one out I liked, Will he gave it to me I thought we were engaged. We had a fight one day recently I was ready to break it off and said do you want to call our engagement off? He said we aren't engaged I never asked you to marry me did I? Thinking back I didn't hear those words will you marry me? We have since made up but knowing I am wear an engagment ring and its not I don't know what to think. He told me we were never engaged so I asked him what time of ring is this that you placed on my left ring finger and he replied just a ring. I am 46 years old not a kid I have been married before for 22 years I have been divorced for nearly 10 years, has times changed so much that a engagment ring is not an engagment ring. I have been hurt ever sense but can't bring up this issue with him again. Help me out anyone. Has this happen to anyone else or is this a normal thing now?

Well...I have lost all confidence what-so-ever, and I want to know if I still have a few options. In school, there is a guy I like; I hardly ever heard him talk before because he's shy and reserved. His friends however are talkative and he only talks to them and no one else. I would like to start a conversation with him but I only have one class with him and he sits at the very back. (While I sit in the middle of the class.) I know and talk to his friends, but I can't seem to find a easy way to get near him and talk to him. Besides we can't get up much in class anyway...and his friends I talk too, but I don't completely know them that much either.
Is there a way I can start talking to him even though we are always far away from each other?

Okay, Me and my boyfriend Love eachother very much. We trust eachother with everything we got. and Its the best things thats every happen to us. Today I had a revelation. I am so sick of couples...I have put so much pressure on myself to "find" someone that after a while I just cracked. I decided that I am sick of wanting that. It would be great if it happened, but still. I am so sick of looking. I'm going to stop looking. No more wishing I had a guy to go shopping with, or cook with, or watch tv with. No more wishing I had someone to talk about nothing with, or fight with...I just don't care anymore. But here is the problem...I'll probably snap out of this in a few days and go back to wishing all of that again. Comments...?
