I'm just curious and something happened today that made me ponder that more than usual. Plus I would like your take on this...I'm moving on from an unrequitted crush that gave me false hope. I transferred to another job location for a couple reasons including mainly him. Today was my last day so I wrote out cards and gave him one saying that I want to leave without us having hard feelings toward each other. Well, we talked a little, told each other we weren't mad and even hugged each other. Well, then I just blurted that one of the main reasons I left was because I still had feelings for him...that was just stupid and just came out of nowhere. He just turned away from me and started typing and said okay. That's all he said...that;s the perfect example of my question. Why do guys think that word is a magic world that's supposed to fix sticky situations? The best part is a few mins later he starts joking and giving me hints about visiting. What's you take on all this? thanks!

I met a great guy about a month ago. Hes everything I could ask for. Hes handsome, sweet, polite everything i could want. He tells me things like he wants to marry me wants me to have his child ect. They will push carts at customers and associates in a department store, and scream at them for absolutely no reason. They're rude and unappreciative when you take them out to dinner or hold a door open for them (some of them going so far as to smart off at you.) They walk around with the sourest looks on their faces. When you try to start a friendly conversation with them, they frown and don't respond, or act grumpy; and it doesn't matter how friendly YOU are. Most KY women that work behind the counter at Wal-Mart or Shell or whereever don't say "thank you" or even acknowledge you when they check you out (in part b/c their customers are so rude and pretentious, even in hick towns.) Heck, I've met much friendlier women from even Massachusetts, New York, Indiana, Michigan, and other northern states...ones that aren't stuck up.

Sure, there ARE nice and mean girls in every city and state. However, the BEST girls I've found are in Tennessee, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.

You see, there is a girl, Amanda, and I really like her a lot, and she lives around the Cincinnati, Ohio area, and I live about 1/2 hr west of Columbus, Ohio. We usually talk everynight on the phone for at least 1 1/2 hrs. And she says that she really likes me, but I haven't asked her to date me yet because of the distance between us, and I for one would try everything in my power to make it work because she is really sweet, and she doesn't care about how little good looks I have, lol.
