Why are Kentucky girls so bitchy?

They will push carts at customers and associates in a department store, and scream at them for absolutely no reason. They're rude and unappreciative when you take them out to dinner or hold a door open for them (some of them going so far as to smart off at you.) They walk around with the sourest looks on their faces. When you try to start a friendly conversation with them, they frown and don't respond, or act grumpy; and it doesn't matter how friendly YOU are. Most KY women that work behind the counter at Wal-Mart or Shell or whereever don't say "thank you" or even acknowledge you when they check you out (in part b/c their customers are so rude and pretentious, even in hick towns.) Heck, I've met much friendlier women from even Massachusetts, New York, Indiana, Michigan, and other northern states...ones that aren't stuck up.

Sure, there ARE nice and mean girls in every city and state. However, the BEST girls I've found are in Tennessee, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.

I've lived in Webster Co., Louisville, Lawrenceburg, and Northern KY. Louisville girls are absolutely the meanest girls I've EVER met anywhere (even Miami, NYC, Boston, etc.,) and Lawrenceburg isn't much better.

I am from Kentucky but I take no offense to your post. As a matter of fact, you are the very first person that I have ever heard say that about Ky girls. I have been a Ky girl all of my life and lived here all of my life and people have always remarked about how friendly we are. We are friendly almost to a fault and I know I have personally been thought to be flirting because I don't meet a stranger. I have married two men from Ohio that would never move back there due to the cold nature of people there as opposed to here in Ky. I have traveled all over the U.S and found that most people are pleasant but have encountered a few in every state that weren't so nice. They didn't greet me in a friendly manner or say 'thanks and have a nice day". Maybe you are a bit judgemental and people sense that in you. Did a Ky girl dump you by any chance? Believe me when I say, that I am not trying to be bitchy at all. I just cannot figure out how you have come to the conclusion that you have about Ky. girls. Have a nice evening. Gail from N. Ky.

lol women are mean all over maybe your just pushing the wrong buttons with kentucky girls heck i don't know maybe try finding women other then at wal-mart... if they are havin to shop there they have a right to be bitchy i mean u know check out dillards or the mall maybe you will find happier women
