well for one not ALL men do (just to stick up for the good guys out there) two the ones that do, do it because the women allows it if you don't allow it then it won't happen granted you might end up breaking up because of "your stubborn ways" not letting him control you, but why would you want a man that controls you anyway so in the long run you would be better off.

They believe they can control them because a lot of the women let them get away with that. If the women was to put her foot down and say hold up ************. I believe the men will understand the woman is not going to take any crap fom him.

Because Submissive women allow themselves to be controlled... you know if the world stoped feeling sorry for abused women maybe they would move on i personally think if he hits you once and you stay then you deserve the abuse so cheers here's to your first battered womens shelter in a long line of them if your staying with a controller....

usually because the woman "plays along" with the behavior and ignores it for 15yrs then asks for a divorce...
