I moved from LA to SF and a woman I really like is visiting me from LA for the weekend. She suggested going to Napa and she will be staying at my place. In a prior conversation, she also mentioned that she wasn't interested in starting a relationship at the moment. A year ago, we fooled around but didn't become an item. We remained good friends. She knows that I am interested in her. Do you think she is coming strictly as a friend or is there something more to it? Any suggestions for finding out where I stand?

ok i asked a guy friend/coworker out to go see pirates of the caribean this comin saturday, and i was like i will buy the tickets and u pay me back, he was like ok i guess- and he said i can totally pick u up and all

well then later i also called one of his buds and he was like u too should go i don't want to go.

i'm so confused. Me and this guy from my school have been talking over the internet for maybe a month now. I felt sorry for him, so i kept replying the emails he sent. I never really knew him much and i never talked to him at school either. But today he sent me this email. It said that he now likes me alot. He also said at his other school he liked this girl and told her, but it didn't go well at all. He said when school starts he'll tell me in person. But i don't like him!! I just felt sorry for him!! I was dating two guys: one knew about the other, one didn't. The one who knew about it basically "won by default" because the other one moved away... and now he's backing away!!!
WHY is he suddenly showing such disinterest?? Now that his competition is gone, shouldn't he be kicking it into high gear?? He used to be in constant agony about being "boyfriend #2" and used to say "I can't wait for him to be out of my life"...
